Thank you very much :-) :-) That's really cool father and son joining in together. Couldn't be better. Perfect :-) Looking forward to the Rangeman :-) Enjoy

This just arrived. I was looking for a smaller sized, lightweight and simple design and this fits the bill perfectly!

A cheapie compared to the Froggys but still a ballot proof classic!

Thank you, I can try and have a go to do a comparison of features if you would like, I will then post it up here.

The Rangemaster only arrived today and I bought it for my 14 Year old son from SC (who recently joined the forum to my surprise) so its on his wrist at the moment.

The Frogman is a new addition to from SC too.

My Son wanted a ABC G-Shock he recently completed Ten Tors weekend which was a unsupported 35 mile trek over Dartmoor over a weekend with his school and he had one of my G-Shock's on. He already has his own collection of Limited Edition G-Shocks.

I have a PROTREK PWR-1300Y I bought in 2008, but it is not a G-Shock in my son's eyes, it is a fantastic watch and it is my MTB riding watch.

The Rangeman is the first G Shock with all the Features of this watch but with the addition of a sunrise and sunset feature which is really neat

I will do a comparison of the Rangeman with the Frogman as soon as I get a bit of time.

Just a few pics I have on Photobucket, I've a load more dotted around the house, it drives the missus mad when they bleep!

    The Froggie

Kawasaki LE on the black strap, rather than the Kawasaki green

Plummeting the depths, well in my fish tank...

    GX56

The Iron Man I picked up in Malaysia

I must round them all up for a group shot. One day.

    Cheers.

    Adam

That limited edition Rangeman is absolutely ace! I may have to add a Rangeman to my G collection, especially as I lost my old gulfman a few weeks back :(

I must also post my g collection at some point too, I haven't bought one for a few years come to think of it!

turns out the only ones i really like are the 5610 and 5610bc , and the bracelet is way way way better than the resin strap ...

Sadly, I don't think I'll be able to find the one you have, I think it's a bit of a pain to find one now. Think it'll have to be a regular edition one.

Thank you very much :-) Actually it was my first Frogman back in 2012 and really difficult to stop once you got the Purple :-) :-)

These are great. You can often pick them up on SC for £30-40.

I had one of these albeit briefly. I found the screws on the case back dug in my wrist, very odd as I've never had this before on a G. Is this normal on this model or did I have a bad one, or maybe just not shaped for my wrist. Shame really cos I do like it, maybe I'll try another.

    Mine are both supremely comfortable.
The screws do look a little more exposed than usual, when you go looking, although not raised.

Do please note that the GXWs are massive.
If you want something slightly more manageable which can simultaneously display two time zones, the humble but excellent GW-6900 will fit the bill. In time-keeping mode, pressing the top right button will display the city time you last looked at in world time mode. Obviously not square but still a classic G.
