Its a cracking watch - chunkier than your classic square, but light. Strap VERY supple too. Just a pity the buckle is plastic. Display is brilliant though. Pin sharp and highly legible.

I had a GST -100 with the same MIP display, returned it as the user interface was just horrible - about a dozen button presses to access the notifications, a step counter that calculates you’d done a marathon whilst you are sat I front of the TV, and the buttons responded to inputs when you release, not press them - plus odd things like no hourly chime, a hugely complicated fitness function, just lots and f really oddly thought out functions. A shame as the MIP display, and the soft band, are the same - I just found the whole thing really irritating!

That's a fair point - I haven't gone near the fitness stuff. I just leave this on the main time screen and take the odd look at the sunrise/sunset/moon stuff. Tide charts are nice... and completely useless to me!

    GST200

Arrived yesterday - very nice so far...

Surprisingly easy to use - the app is simple and the button functions are almost exactly the same as a GW5600.

    Cheers,

That's a nice watch. Personally I have never been a Gshock fan but I wouldn't mind one of those.
    What model is that?

GST-B200-1AER, sold out pretty much everywhere now sadly. Just managed to snag one of the last ones at a sensible price.

It’s very nice in the flesh - not too massive on my tiny wrist and not that heavy (the carbon core helps there).

I wasn’t certain whether or not the app would be a gimmick or not but it makes it much easier to set the default stuff for the watch (time zones, button sound, hourly chime, 24hr, date format, etc.). It also means the watch synchronises with internet time 4 times every 24 hours (if in range of my phone).

The nice thing is that every setting is also accessible via the buttons (if you want) and, if you’ve owned another G-Shock it will be very familiar to you.

    It looks good too 😃.

    Cheers,

    Mark C

Thank's for the info. I have found a new one on eBay BUT the seller only has 80% feedback so i'm a bit wary lol I will keep it in mind tho.

If anyone is interested the G-Shock store on Carnaby St in London have stock of the black "Casioak" with the white hands. No stock of the all black, that seems to be what people are calling them all day long for.
