A DW-5600SK modded with a steel bezel. Very shiny, mirror dial, for one of the last days of summer...

How about some of you prolific posters adding some SOTC shots? Would be great to see your collections.

    This time the GA-2000GZ.

Wearing mine now, arrived yesterday. Needed to watch a YouTube tutorial to set it up, but all done now. I've just been swimming in it, nice and light and no appreciable drag in the water.

My modded GMWB5k black IP version with DLC bezel and bracelet. I hadn't realised that the buttons were already DLC and therefore that and the caseback matches perfectly.

    Very nice.

I love the fact that Casio have finally with this model allowed the user to choose the day-month order! At last.

Same again, only with the positive display. Bought the GMW-B5000G-1ER from G-Shock UK with their 10% discount, then bought a DLC Porter bezel, bracelet and male and female screws and did the swop. The result is almost a Porter for less than a third of the current asking price. The only difference is the red and blue bits on the Porter.

    The donor watch:

    The conversion:

Finally, the actual Porter (sadly long gone) - just for comparison:

It is complete bonkers that G-Shock haven't released a positive square in full metal inc bracelet (apart from the Porter). It seems loads of people have done the same mod inc people on WUS as well as here.

I sold my resin straps, bezel and screws on e-bay so no going back now 

Personally I prefer the standard GW5000 rubbery bezel and strap. I tried a metal bezel version last last and it wasn't to my taste.

The GW5000 is one of the best watches I've owned and I love mine. I still think that the Riseman is the best G Shock though!

Sorry, was a bit cheeky reply. Omission understood.

    Still have my Porter btw,

Have a reservation for the upcoming Ti square as well,

And will source the new Frog as well,

I wouldn't mind doing that, but finding a dealer that will take a reservation is not easy, especially in the UK. The London store is very much a walk in and you can buy what they have, they won't even ship. Most of the other sellers are just normal High Street jewellers that sell G-Shock and they wouldn't get any stock anyway.

As I recall, the gold LE and the Porter were sold in London to people who had queued outside for them on a certain day. Just hoping the price puts people off and that I can get one from the G-Shock UK website when they are released.

I have read that about the London G-Shock store. Whilst I can understand that they don’t ship I do find it odd that you cannot order/pre-order, guess it creates a certain hype for them at some releases though. And fair play if they honor that principle and doesn’t treat any customers different I guess.

Still also have an almost unworn gold LE (positive display), should anyone be looking for one I could be talked out of it.

I am in the same boat waiting for black full metal bracelet with positive display.

Think your mod looks better as never liked the red on the Porter
