Thread: Show your G-Shocks

A G sat getting sun at home but not being worn. This week I’ve been wearing my Gs and Seikos.

    Incidentally my only analog G....

Serendipitously, the straps fit and suit my diver - bonus!

Hi do you have the reference for this please? Cheers

That’s a standard steel square (GMW-B5000D-1) that has been bead blasted as a custom job:

The other one you mention I guess is the GMW-B5000TFC-1, ”Porter” limited edition (500 pieces made), not a mod,

More info here about that one: https://www.g-central.com/g-shock-gm...h-dlc-coating/

It's the G-SHOCK GA-2000E-4JR - on a black resin band and khaki green cloth band. List price is ¥20,000 JPY and I think it may be a LE.

New arrival - DW-5600SK. Smkoe translucent strap, colourless transparent bezel and mirror dial surround. The G I've been waiting for for years...

    Show your G-Shocks

Just received my first ever G Shock today. First thing I thought when I opened the box was, wow this is surprisingly good quality, next thing I thought was - it looks just like my 44mm AP Royal Oak Offshore Lol!! The detailing to the dial far exceeds what I expected and the materials of the case are all great quality and well finished.

Going to give this beast a few days on the wrist now and enjoy a new type of watch. It is primarily dedicated as my outdoor activities watch, mountain biking, kayaking, looking after the kids, etc but it wears so well I expect I’ll use it for more too.

I need a Gshock to wear for 2 weeks a year when I go on holiday, I obviously don't need one as I could wear my seamaster but I want one ;)

All clean after a good scrub in the sink with soap and water.

Rangeman and G Squad on their way and a new module to turn my green King into a positive screen.

I have one of these and it’s a keeper. Childishly big, and that’s why I love it.

Guessing these are out now? I have seen a couple on eBay? Did you get one? Is it huge? Looks amazing with the carbon dial. Also noticed different reference digits on the end for what looks like the same watch (ACR) (AJR) etc

AFAIK the reference letters at the end (ER/DR/CR etc) are designations for which market the specific watch is intended for, Europe etc. There can be differences in boxes & papers but the watches are the same.

Thanks for clarifying, presumably the tome that is the instructions would have different languages included if bought from another country. And importing one would be subject to VAT
