This arrived yesterday, getting a bit of a charge whilst I YouTube how to set it up.

I really like the size and style; it looks like it will wear easier than the new Rangeman at least.

They’re quite nice, well worth a try.
This model is a bit different in that it comes on a bracelet instead of the typical resin or CF strap,

Also has a nifty micro adjust functionality in the clasp.

    Hey,
I've had auto-illuminating watch years and years ago. Believe it was a Casio as well. I'm more into mechanical automatics now and seeing time at night sucks :( Possible problem with led sapphires that manufacturers provide. Everyone suggest me to take watches with illuminating LEDs from this company http://www.monocrystal.com/catalog/sapphire/
    Either way, very cool!

    Show your G-Shocks

Can’t remember if I posted this before as it’s from a month or so ago but I love the pic and wanted to add it to the thread as the sun showcases the dial nicely.

This has me sold on a Gulfmaster, thanks S.L

With the great photos that both you and deepsea_dweller keep posting its difficult not to get drawn into the whole G ecosystem. I hope that both of you keep up posting the excellent photos.

**I did a bit of googling and there seems to be a problem with the Q1000 models - hands not returning to the correct time. I will give it a miss. I notice the newer version is a different design. Shame since its a lovely looking watch.

SWMBO twoc’d the red beater last week for swimming.

    She decided it’s now hers.

Thanks to this thread, the replacement plans escalated a little.

Bought this at the weekend and I'm struggling to find a reason to take it off. I love it. With the added bonus of two other interchangeable straps.

Snap! So lightweight and excellent imho. I have a question though - when moving the hands so I can see the sub dials (with a double press of the light button) the hands seems to be much slower and less ‘smooth’ when moving anti clockwise than clockwise, I’m wondering if mine is faulty?

Thanks for the reply. Wore mine yesterday, it has to be the lightest watch I’ve ever worn especially on the green canvas strap. I find it really legible, but wish they did one with positive Displays - there is a white one but I’m not sure that’s quite for me!!
