I am happy that where ever I go I have a compass to get me home. The main thought process behind is I spend a lot of time in the sea on my jetski and perhaps one day this will be important.

Not the best photo but my g shock x hundreds gw5600 i bought a few years ago when i was heavily into street wear. Not worn it for a while and it seems to have picked up sone paint on the bezel that I can't seem to get off

Casio G-Shock GG-1000-1A3 GG-1000 World Time Watch :) :)
Picked this up on ebay this week. The discontinued white version of the GW-3000.
MN issued

Thanks to this thread.. I realised how stupid I was to sell my old Riseman (MIB). I never got on with the negative display (way too dark) and thanks to my WTB on here, a week later, I'm reunited with the one I should have bought in the 1st place!
Oh... and I just had to try its big brother... the Rangeman! What a bit of kit! You can see their thinking in adding new features and ideas to the Riseman here to create the Rangeman.
Both have their merits, so both will stay.
Not mine - just 4 show. One of the rarest and most expensive Froggy's around. Still very low profile. Not many would realise the exclusivity

The Mudnaster GWG 1000 shouldn't be a problem getting in the UK. The Casio stores should have the 'international' version. For the GW 5000 there're plenty of auction sides - so you don't have to be physically in Japan getting one. The GW 5000 is not a rare bird - still some around - Most of my G's are directly shipped from Japan - but living in HK is surely an advantage. Shoot me a pm if any questions

Cool !
I've been wearing the GWG-1000 for a few days now and I absolutely love it. I was concerned by the size when trying it in the shop, but even though it's the biggest watch I have ever worn, it's fits superbly and does not look too big when on the wrist.
I love my Ranger. Perfect for this weekend
Same model here.
This thread is just reminding me that I should never have sold my Riseman.
On a tangential note, I had a GW-M5600 and always found the buttons really tricky to use. Is the GW-5000 any easier to operate?

I have to ask deepsea_dweller... how many G's do you have? Would love to see a group shot!
