Dean, hope all goes well in the new job. All the best mate.
PS: Nice watch!
Hi all
After what has seemed an eternity the unit I work in has been spun off (actually took 6 months) from Microsoft.
We have a new owner: LINE corporation (http://line.me/en/), the folk who do the messaging and games.
So I thought since its a new beginning I should treat myself to a new watch (Q&D):
Been after a 39mm for ages, this seemed the perfect excuse :-)
(Late) Merry Christmas to you all.
Thanks

Stunning choice Sir. I started a new job 4 weeks ago - best of luck with yours.
Congratualtions on the job and the watch.
Don't see too many of those in the Loft.
Good luck with the new role.
Thats quite a way to start a new challenge. Good luck!
Nice watch, shame about the cufflinks. Ex-fairy?
Congratulations on both the new job and the very worthy celebration!
Hi all
Thanks for the comments. Certainly looking forward to the how we can shape our own future outside the walls of a huge corporation.
First trip is to CES in Vegas in a weeks time
Good luck with your new challenges
Yep, TC TG3 so the fairest of fairies only toying with 5V. However I did do the HF Tx which can pack a punch :-0 and you.?
Thanks

Congratulations on the new job. Now can someone translate the last sentence in the above post for me?
A colleague has one of those. A bit small for me, but very nice.

Nice one Deano, best of luck in the new job. The watch ain't too bad
Congrats on the new job, watch is lovely too. A little small for me but stunning all the same.
Gz mate!
Sorry it was a bit cryptic.
In the RAF you have different trade groups (TG), generally the lower the number was more technical with the higher number for support personel.
TG 1 was all to do to with aircraft and these techs were called heavies.
TG 3 was ground techies, so airfield (AF), air defense (AD) and telecommunications (TC), who were fairies.
Typically radar and transmitters carry huge voltages and current, easily enough to kill you. Ibeing a TC I did work on transmitter but ended up working on ICT and other comms gear, so 5V stuff...
...so working on the lowest voltage put me as the fairest of fairies :-)
Thanks
deano
Thanks Deano, you learn something new every day!
Hope all goes well
Nice choice too
Stunning! I really love this watch! Enjoy it in good health!
