    Defender under-sealing / rust-proofing

My '96 110 has been repeatedly undersealed throughout it's life and is in great condition underneath. Previous owners, who are local, last did it some years ago though and it's starting to flake a bit. Needs redoing.
Looking online for somewhere good. Has anyone used Before n' After in Rugby? Quite a shouty website but it's near work and I always think businesses with a terrible website which are still going strong must be good.

No idea but I admire your logic - I’d assume the same!

They pressure wash the underside before wax oiling?

My mate recomended jetwash to remove dirt.
I never had the courage to inject water into all the nooks and crannies before sealing it up with waxoyl.

Maybe after a month drying out in summer weather it would be ok, but not the next day.

Basically this, we do about 6 a year and it’s a god damn awful job. We never ever introduce water to the equation as Reeny says, the water hangs around and drips for days. It’s a job where you dont want to introduce water. If we have a wet day on the day the customer drives in we get them to cancel.
Brushes and airlines is our method.

In answer to the general question of undersealing etc I've seen these guys bigged up on Pistonheads:

And they are Land Rover specialists too by the looks of it:

    Choose carefully.

As FFF says, IMHO jetwash is fine but you need a decent pause (weeks) before anything else.

I did my mine at home, bit involved and not the cleanest job in the world!.

Mike Sanders Grease. German car magazines rate this stuff with the highest score. I only have experience with their 'grease strips': you put them between fenders and body etc. My Saab has them installed since 2011 and not a single sign of rust. Which is remarkable: the '70s Saab rust like an Alfa Sud.
