    It's winter boot time

While we are on the subject of Timberlands, I’ve never had much trouble with the Made in the Dominican Republic ones either. As long as they are 6 inch heritage premiums. These two pairs are donkeys years old and still going very strong.

I remember buying the burnt orange ones in 2007 for less than £50 in a sale at a shop in the Houston Galleria mall.

If you're colour-blind & an odd size, AFPOS has a few pairs of Tricker's Stowe at just over £200...

...some Bourtons at under £200 as well.

    Very nice.

You may well find there is a hidden or blind eyelet that is set underneath the final layer of the upper, rather than the visible style of eyelet that goes through all the layers.

Don’t think you can go to far wrong with a pair of £180 Tims soft £65.

I’m a 7 in Loakes etc., a 7.5 in Tims and 8 in Nike. Hopefully that relationship helps.

If you’re thinking of timberlands I’d look at Panamajack similar price but in my experience much longer lasting they’ve been like timberland used to be for me and they’re true to size for me too.

Another vote for Panama Jack from me.

I've a couple of pairs of the Fedro and Faust. Beautifully soft, supple leather, warm lining and great sole.

Canadian Snow Boots. Pull out thermal liner.
£19.99 from Aldi ...... Buying these is a guarantee that it won't snow.

If you want cheap 6in. Timberlands, look no further than seller 'elitesuperstores' on eBay.

Note that the boots may have storage/handling marks, but the price reflects this.

I realise they have laces but I thought they looked like a tactical version of these:

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Add the boots to your basket and then add the first discount code. Then delete the boots from your basket. Add the boots to your basket again and use the second discount code this time. The codes will stack and you will get them for just shy of £65

Agree to some extent and I don’t buy cheap so they are not for me.

But, c’mon they are 60 odd quid. For that price point they are ten times better than anything else you can buy for £60 plus change.

I have a pair too that I bought as winter boots two years ago, with the wool lining as my Red Wings Iron Rangers I normally wear are unlined. The Panama Jack's were immediately comfortable and warm. Only issue was one shoe is a different colour to the other, being light brown when the other is a nice reddish brown, but I had already exchanged a pair for sizing issues so I just couldn't be bothered changing again.

GOt the high ankle bootlet with wool in and these are warm.
Sadly got the boot version but a synthetic lining and they are not as warm as the high ankle Panama Jack shoes.

Drakes in London used to stock them, not far from New Bond Street so double jeopardy for a footwear and watch purchase extravaganza.

For those interested in Panama Jack the boots linked below are the ones I’ve had since Nov 17 as my main October through April boots and they are the warmest, driest boots I’ve ever owned.

Those soles are super grippy too, I can walk on icy pavements or slimy yorkshire stone, when everyone else takes to the road.

I’ve got two pairs, one brown and one black. As you say with the sheepskin lining they are very warm. Also have a pair of Aviators which have synthetic lining. Nit quite as warm but still comfortable.

I’ve been looking a pair of the Galvin shoes for work but unsure if they ship from within the UK or not. Obviously don’t want to get hit with a long delay or worse a customs fee because of you know what!
