Keep it mate. Titanium, Limited to 500, GMT function, Spring Drive and a sapphire crystal all for what? £1,500? My guess is that will be a sort after a model in couple of years time

The black dial looks so much better in person, when the light catches it has a nice matte finish and the markers are a lot nicer, i really didn't like the black surrounds on the white dial markers.

    Anyhow...

I ended up with the white one but i am very tempted to buy the black one as well as i think these are the best VFM Sports Rolex at the moment.

Vintage Steinhart GMT just collected from the friendly and efficient staff at Hartlepool Sorting Office. It's unmarked and complete. Thanks to Rob (trident-7)

About 7.5 inches. I may end up moving it on, my oris 65 covers pretty much the same bases as this, going to give it the weekend.

Thanks, yeah the Oris 65 is the other one I’ve been looking at but can’t find a Rado dealer near me that
actually has one to try it.

I believe it was £2401 with a personal discount that jura had sent me after my last purchase but I hadn’t used ;-)
Wouldn’t let me use a discount on other new releases but it allowed it on this??

It has the crystal and clear caseback in comparison to my normal black 103 so will have to see if it’s worth the extra??

I am also a fan of this, very elegant. What size is it? I ask as I tried on a couple of the Zenith dressier pieces and at 42 they felt just too big. Also what movement does this have? Cheers

All calm here dear. Simply a typo in my post. Should have read - “just googled it” - as in “I have just googled it” so I wasn’t patronizing anyone.

Just landed - I upgraded from the Tag Connected to the modular mechanical.

Never had a mechanical Tag before and I’m very impressed. Fresh, light and clean lines.

    Growing on me.

No problem mate. My Mrs is demanding we buy a house for some reason so the only way I'm getting one of these is if I sell my Snowflake. They do a non limited edition SBEJ001 also

Same problem here in Swansea/West Wales. I'd be surprised if one showed up in Cardiff but due up there in a few weeks so will have a look.

Went into a usually reliable second hand watch shop in Tenby the other day that regularly stock Seamasters, various subs, Tags and Breitlings to discover that they now only stock sub-£150 pieces of garbage. The reason? "Oh, we like to rotate brands..."!

It's not like there's no market for it - Swansea's a relatively sizeable (and surprisingly cosmopolitan...) city, and Tenby's a retirement town with plenty of cash floating about!

    Rant over...

No I realised it was an auto after I posted. Mostly still applies. If you do feel like shifting it on, I'd be interested as long as I haven't bought one myself by then

No blow up. Just yet another OTT reaction to a typo. It’s a lovely watch though 🤣

Good morning all, I arrived home in the early hours after 2 weeks away to find this waiting for me... oh the perils of internet shopping whilst watching the sunset over the bay with a never ending supply of 1€ beers!

After taking the battered bracelet off and scraping a few years of funk away I found that I really quite like this.

I know the Sekondas were ussr imports back in the day but have no idea of age etc and can find very little reference material on the internet, possibly a poljot? It is gold plated au20 and seems to run well, I’ve thrown it on a black and brown leather strap and it doesn’t look at all bad on either... it is to me, a fairly interesting case and not too small. Looks like I got away with this one as it was certainly ‘competitively priced’

It appears I decided that I needed a few competitively priced vintage pieces and have 2 more coming in the very near future... goodness knows what the Oris or Smiths will be like, maybe a little less amber nectar next time!

I was very tempted by this piece as the dial looks like a work of art ?
I’m guessing it’s as good in person as it looks from the few pics I’ve seen?!?!

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Arrived on Saturday, bit more color for the summer.

You know you have too many watches when your son shouts ‘no more watches’ every time you look in a window

It’s even nicer in the flesh Chris. I can’t keep my eyes off it in the sunshine. Sometimes I have to look twice for the time as the fist time I’m just mesmerised and forget lol.
