Gorgeous, Michael. If I didn’t have my Chronomaster I’d have been hitting the BIN button myself!

Rarely up for sale here and they seem to go pretty quickly.
Zenith has been struggling for some years, and I say that as a fan. My local Zenith retailer has stopped trying to sell them and switched to Bremont(!). The root cause seems to be such a confused model range. Indeed some models with the El Primero movement are listed in a completely different range.
I know of a number of Zenith chronos listed on SC which simply didn't sell, even at good prices. It seems a touch hit and miss. Which is a shame, because they are very fine watches, in my opinion . A few more models at 38mm might help. That's clearly got a fan base. And a clearer, heavily pruned, model range would save confusion.
I hope the company's future will be bright. They are certainly experimenting with some interesting technical stuff.

And here's another El Primero model, although not listed as such. It's the 'classic' model.

Sold it to a friend, and he won't sell it back.

Rare watch this, in as much is looks poor on a Chronissimo due to the lug design. But the rubber is super soft and high quality.

Anyway, its a lovely watch and feels like a 600 or 700 quid watch PSX_20180328_142627.jpgPSX_20180328_141626.jpg

I've been hankering after the new titanium Fifty Fathoms released at Baselworld last year. At lunchtime I finally got my mitts on it!!

The titanium weight makes all the difference, I bloody love it!!

    Aren’t they a £700+ watch?

Yes, i suppose so, up to 1k, but some retailers have done deals on the grey market.

This watch new on rubber is technically about 800 which i think is over priced but it is lovely

So my comet finally came through, it was coming from the US and only took 9 days so not too bad - even customs didn't hold it for too long!

I must say I rather like the size - I have pretty small wrists and I was worried about the square case but it is rather quite small and fits pretty snug on me. I do like wearing it and it is certainly a conversation starter for those who see it!

Quite a fun piece you got there, and it looks great - congrats.

Was it discussed in another thread also?

Thanks - yes I posted it when I purchased it that it was incoming, not sure if it has been mentioned elsewhere though.

It is in great condition considering, just been serviced and keeps excellent time as well.

That is absolutely stunning, the dial must dance in the right light.

yes of course, that was where I had seen it. I guess it is manual wind - which movement, and what are the dimensions of the watch?

Such a beautiful piece; I love its cream dial with discrete date and the blued hands & indices are stunning when they catch the light. For me too, this is the perfect size and wears like a dream.

The lume doesn’t need too much encouragement either with just a little natural light needed:

All in all I’m very, very happy with this, and if anyone gets the opportunity I’d heartily recommend a trip around the many watch shops in Chichester.

Picked the DJ41 from my local AD yesterday and love it so far. Plan is to add a Black Bay Fifty-Eight this summer and complete my three watch collection.

Yeah manual wind Longines caliber 702 movement - nothing special really. The case is 35mm x 41mm (lug to lug) but wears slightly larger due to the squareness of it.

Not done yet but planning to sell my breitling airwolf and pick up a bell & ross.

    Congratulations, on your choice.
Your first photo certainly shows off the stunning colour of the blue dial.
I have also got my name down for a 58 - the year that I was born :-)

Hi all... been lurking for a while, first posts. Picked this up a couple of weeks back after stumbling upon one in the window. It is my first Tudor and I have to say that I am incredibly happy with it, this could be a keeper.

I was initially torn between the blue and the rhodium, but found the blue more "alive" and quite the chameleon, changing from a light "ciel" blue in strong light to a dark blue, almost black, in low light conditions. My only gripe with the watch is the clasp which I found a bit difficult to size.

Regarding the 58, I think it's the star of Baselworld 2018, with Tudor fixing most, including my own, issues with the original black bay, respectively the height of the case and the slab sides. Not sure about the gold lettering on the bezel on the 58 but I'll take my chances.

    Kind Regards,
    Catalin

That is sweet. Love the horned lugs and the dial pattern is very similar to Hillary's distinctive Everest expedition watch, albeit a tad smaller. Pre-Deluxe must date it to around 1950/51.
