I've wanted one of these for about two years now, and to my mind it knocks the socks off any other ana-digi that I've owned. Meet my new (to me) B-1...

A nice man from Fedex delivered this today. Wanted one since I saw the vintage Tudor display at SalonQP last year...

*: Me saying that a watch should be smaller!? I usually love bigger watches. But for vintage verisimilitude I can't help but feel it should be smaller. :-)

    New arrival

I liked these but only saw them for +£200, found this in a state, sent to Cannop for an overhaul and new glass. Ordered a Gasgasbones and now it's on my wrist......

Looks bigger in the picture not that bad really, I agree with you would be nicer with a manual wind .

I like that. Could you give me some info on that please as I have an Aqua Terra on my wish list and still not too knowledgeable about all of the models available.

Have wanted to add a TH for a little while now but TBH have never seen one that took my fancy until this Saturday spotted this in a local jewellers good size nice dial and large date window full set from 2011 so a happy punter.

So, my wife has never liked my digital G-shock (the retro square, positive display, non-stealthy GW-M5610BC-1ER) on the basis it looks like one of those plasticky Casios from the 80s (which was rather the point but...) and although I like it (and had added the combi-bracelet normally found on the negative display version) I eventually convinced myself that an ana-digi G was the way to go as it is easier to get the time at a glance and at an angle. Two excuses then, at least one more than we usually need.

There are many cheaper ways to resolve the conundrum but after literally moments of thought I plumped for an MTG-1500B-1A1EF. I think it was the catchy name that did it...

It arrived this morning. It is not yet synced for time or adjusted to fit, but I already know it was the right decision. Slightly extravagant for a G-shock but this is a fine piece of work.

    Very happy with the decision.

    Matt

Got this one in a trade, Torgoen T8.
It has 3 separate indepent adjustable movements.
A very convenient watch for a regular traveller.

I'm not sure its a keeper though, got it in a trade.
It wears awesome on the wrist because of the great rubber strap.

That's a pain - an easy fix; but will make you worry about something more serious

After hearing good things I thought I'd give Tiger a shot...

...got to say for the price I'm thoroughly impressed. So much so I'll probably take the time to throw a review together after I've worn it for a bit.

Then this one arrived. Got it for £22 on E Bay. It's at least 50 years old. Soviet era Kirovskie 'crab' case. Waiting for a brown leather strap to arrive for it. In real life the dial looks even better as the imperfections are not magnified.
