    Thanks!

The golf is lovely too but I needed the 38mm for my skinny wrist!

Just in from work to find this waiting for me. Still has all the plastic on, hope to get a good look tonight but all looking really good so far. Glad I stuck with my original choice of the salmon dial.

Hard to beat. The Sub ND is the best watch they make IMO.

Thanks, I'm very pleased with it. Funnily enough it was the first time I tried one on my wrist, so I had been slightly worried about a 'don't meet your heros' type moment, but it hasn't disappointed.

    Cheers. Top 2 for me

Thought about sticking my name down for something else, plenty of good options but after a good stint on the configurator I decided not to. I think I've got my Rolex quota covered now with these two, unless there's a lotto win on the horizon and adding a platinum model becomes a possibility.

Hi Jon. I am looking for a Skydweller jubilee bracelet. Would you know of where I could purchase one from perhaps please? TIA

I really like that, and being able to see the day and date wheels is interesting - especially seeing the English/French alternating days. I wonder is this common or unusual on day wheels?

    Hi,

I ordered mine directly from the AD that I purchased the BLRO from.
I initially went through RSJ but they said there was no need as the AD will order it.

The AD didn’t know that at the time. It took around 10 weeks to be delivered.

Ah OK. Thank you. I will enquire with my AD. I always thought that this wasn’t a possibility.

My H20 Orca has an interchangeable case system with the 2000m pressure tested capsule, so I treated it to a new Torpedo case, Turbine bezel and flat ceramic insert. I just need to set the time and date.

That’s quite a cool feature, I never knew the outer case was interchangeable.
The dial is cool as well, obviously inspired by the Candino and similar watches.
If they had a different had set I would go for one of these.

Thank you, it really is near mint. It’s March 1976 according to the serial. Original owner bought it in October of the same year.

Ha! I'm trying in my mind to hate it and pick fault with it but really the changes to the case, though subtle, make it IMHO much better than the previous version. It feels very well balanced.

Interestingly I went in yesterday to the AD to have a whinge that I'd not had any call from them for a while and I'd spent a lot there (part of WOS group), they asked some more questions, updated my details and then called today and said they'd had an allocation and did I want it. When I was in the store the staff were cooing over my Super Mario Gshock and wanting to try it on!

Ha! AD made it clear this is a keeper for me (Mappin and Webb).

I've been critical of the whole Rolex palaver and how you can get better finishing for the same money elsewhere. And that's true. But hey, it's a Sub, I think this model with the tweaks does encapsulate the classic models pretty effectively. No one thing about it screams 'best in class' but taken as a whole its a pretty compelling package and this one will stay a while at least.

Hopefully this is a sign of increasing availability as well. I'd love a White Daytona as well.

Can't find a better daily in the catalogue IMO. The new ND made me go mad on Subs and at one point I had 5513, 14060M, 16610, 114060, 124060 and the 126610LV. The 124060 is the best of the lot.

Ditched the older stuff but still have the 5513 although alf tempted to chop it in for a 39 Exp 1 and keep the change.

Not had a new G-Shock since I bought a Garmin but hard to beat for nostalgia.
