Thanks, it’s a really deep blue and changes depending on the light conditions. A bit different to the usual black dials!

Not a new arrival but I've modded the bracelet today for a ratchet clasp and aged the bezel

Following on from the Earnest Jones 25% off PSA I took the plunge on a black BN0118-04E today.

Added a George’s Straps seat belt NATO I’d bought but never used and I’m quite pleased.

    New holiday watch

Maen Skymaster Chronograph. Went for the grey dial as I don't own any in that colour. Showed up earlier that expected as I pre-ordered it a couple of months ago and shipping was quoted as August.

Impressions so far are good. Swapped the standard leather strap which has white stitching over to a Hirsch performance with rubber backing due to the sweaty weather.

You certainly don’t see many of those about, I wore one on my wedding day in 2004 but sold it a couple of years later (for £2k!). They’re probably worth at least double that in gold alone these days, they’re a weighty old beast if I remember correctly.

The strap looks original but the leather was very thin. Mine came with a gold buckle rather than the deployant on the steel models.

    Holiday watch 2022...

Wanted something with all the benefits of my G-shock but that looked a bit more like a 'proper' watch.

Great. Been mulling this one over myself. Could replace the G-Shock. Wish the numbers were a tad more restrained and the date was absent, but for the price the feature set is very impressive.

My third black dial Diver 300. Still think this is the best dial colour for these.

No the bracelet is great - I just prefer straps in general. The steel case and steel bezel and steel bracelet is maybe a little too much metal to my eyes?

I should have never sold mine...bought it to replace a Rolex SD43 and IMHO it was a better watch.

I didn't try it on the rubber and if I had it probably wouldn't have been sold to a forum member.

I had my first one on the bracelet which looked great but it was uncomfortable for me and made the watch too heavy on the wrist. After trying one on rubber I'd always go with that option on them now.

Looks great. Apart from the skeleton hands, nothing to criticise here.

Thanks to Andy ( Thechatteringclasses ) answering my WTB I have an FXD on my wrist instead of a wait of over a year!

Straight onto an NDC strap and it looks the DBs.

    Already a firm favourite.

Not sure if I've posted this one yet, arrived last week and have added a hexad bracelet which I think works rather well.

New arrival, awaiting extra links as a bit tight but outstanding condition to my eyes. Had a few EPs but the hand wound is a real rarity and crosses the lines between sports and dress.

Not new exactly but feels like it after having the new style speedy bracelet fitted at the boutique. Fully brushed version.

Very happy as the strap was never very comfortable.

Getting this Electronic Omega back next week, after Omega UK quoted me an open ended quote of £1750 to service it that didn't include a case polish or crystal polish/replacement I politely declined!
Was my late uncles watch so I was determined to get it working,
Bit of searching and a found Keith tilley on herehat so I popped it off to him, upon inspection he deemed it to be in not terrible shape and it's now working as it should and looks great!
Just needs a new strap now.
