I couldn’t agree more. Lots of beautiful watches posted recently; and some veeery pricey and sought after ones; some beautiful vintage ones, but this is my favourite this month. Lovely. The Sinnful trio are great too.

Always happy to speak grand seiko… it’s a boutique exclusive so can only be bought from one of the worldwide boutiques.

Model below. It has an amazing blue iwate dial, sbgj235

Thank you, it’s a lovely belated present from the wife as I was deployed away. I really like initially I turned it down last year but the blue is sublime and in 41 a lovely size.

Thanks both, it’s a lovely little thing, 36mm is smaller than I’m used to but those numerals were too nice to pass up especially at the price point Baltic came in at. A better pic because why not!

Arrived this morning from SC - Swiss made with ETA 2824-2 and provides a tritium fix. Great quality for the money.

Picked this up recently in trade, Eberhard Contograf, Tribute to Contograf. It's a very well put together watch, very happy indeed with this.

Three Citizens have turned up over the last month or two.

The gold cosmotron was bought for spares but was too nice to break up. The faceted crystal is in pretty good condition and it runs well. However my favourite characteristic is the sound it makes. It is almost like a peel of bells in miniature.

So as the gold one was no longer for spares I was lucky enough to find the white dial cosmotron which is the exact same model that I need the spares for. I haven't fired it up yet but the case is in good condition and the bracelet looks good too.

In an effort to broaden my vintage LCD horizons I took a chance on the Crystron LCD. It is in pretty good condition with different colour paint still on the pushers. Upon opening the case I was disappointed to find my luck had run out and the battery had leaked. However the damage doesn't seem too bad and I may chance my arm at a bit of soldering to see if it is repairable. Otherwise I'll start a search for yet more spares.

Puts a Sub into the shade IMHO, & leave it on that sublime bracelet, there are few better.

Thanks Neil - I’d agree with the sub comparison, maybe with exception of the bezel action. I think the sub is a bit better there.

I feel like I shouldn't but I love that, reminds me of "oily" marbles from my childhood.

Cool. I do really quite like that, especially the oily sheen.

Not sure how I would get on with the bubble.

v nice - I had one before and regret selling it, one of the few I actually miss. I was tempted to buy this but have a new GO on order..

imo the GO Trieste strap is the best match for it..

While i remain a fan of mechanical watches, as an 80's child just had to have one of these. A long time dream has come true today - feeling nostalgic..
Just this one pic, and it goes straight into the ultrasonic cleaner (disassembled of course) - it can do with one as you can see, there's a lot of (perhaps still 80's) hand grease all over it bloahh

I would be if I were you. They are lovely.
They are the best looking ‘luxury’ diver on sale today IMO (along with the Omega SM300MC).

That looks cracking. And a very un-Uboatish 38mm if I'm not mistaken?

Lovely dial on the glashuette but took me a while to figure out it wasn't a GMT with the minute hand on top.
