I bought one last year. It is a firm keeper, the fit and finish is very high and the close-up detail on the dial is fabulous.

I reckon these will hold value well in the long term as well if that matters of course. Lovely watch.

    Lovely watch, congratulations.

I've got the blue Seamaster and it's a brilliant watch which I rarely take off my wrist.

    Can you measure the lug-to-lug?

    Was it a manual wind?

    Was there much wabi?

    I'll stop now.

I have a 1016 so am a fan of the design and the size. I really like that Eddie was prepared to produce its photographic negative. I think Rolex missed a trick by not doing something similar.

Lovely, I've flirted with getting a Pelagos but haven't yet pulled the trigger.

How comfortable is it after a few hours on the wrist? I think it's over 14mm thick.

A little thick but it is very comfortable. The clasp adjustment is pretty good but nothing touches glide lock.

    Thank you.

It's definitely on my list but I'll probably end up going for the black dial.

The blue is an acquired taste. Took me a while to commit and I'm still not 100%

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Just returned from working at the Olympics and had to tack a few days on the end to pick up a few Seikos. I opted for an SBCD071 and the SARY192. Wearing the Prospex today and loving the feel of it. Amazing prices out there too.

A couple of recent arrivals following a slimming down of the collection. Very pleased with them both and chuffed to have found some good straps for them too! The Seamaster is really comfortable being so light and is noticeably thinner than the steel model I had previously. And the IWC is great - the blue dial is lovely and the new bracelet is excellent. The quick release system is brilliant - the bracelet just clips off leaving normal spring bars in place. Changing to a nato takes literally seconds.

Hi Scooby, it's the Space Blue Matte Supreme NATO from Crown & Buckle. It's a really nice, deep navy colour.

    https://www.crownandbuckle.com/matte...pace-blue.html

They're quite expensive when you factor in import fees but are worth it - IMO they're the best NATOs around.

Love the Seamaster with that MN strap. Is that the Sahara with the sand color line ?

Thank you! It's Sahara with the two tone centerline. I think it matches really well with the colours of the watch. I know Erika's are a silly price but the colours and materials are very good.

Oh well done Raj! I suspect the newer Messena and other watches have cooled interest in the Diver and become slightly easier and less crazily priced. Wearing mine today and absolutely love it.

I love the Ming, Rajen. I was very close to buying one last week but got sidetracked by Wazzers Omega Seamaster Tokyo 2020.

Leo - what a fantastic GS, there is a lot going on and it's one I would like to see and handle one day.

Lucky enough to have bought this Omega Seamaster Tokyo 2020 and in person, it is a stunner. The dial with its subtle waves, blued hands, and raised indices are mesmerising with the double AR coating. The splash of red from the Seamaster scrip finishes it off nicely. The modern version of the 90's Seametsr bracelet is perhaps more subtle than it appears, the small links are flush and the contrast between the links has been lessened so it doesn't appear dated, as it does on the 90's version. Overall, a great watch with excellent legibility.

Being born in 1979, it made sense to buy the 1979 reissue.
