Got this less than 2-weeks ago!

That is a pretty nice combo. I agree you would want a blue on that, but always a trick to get the right shade with rubber.

    MKII Cruxible Hellion on Haveston....

Took the opportunity to buy this one back. Popped it on a generic rubber while I resized the bracelet, I think I could be tempted to invest in an OEM.

A beautiful watch - very classy.

One of my former colleagues had a similar watch he inherited which I always admired. Wear it in good health!

Acquired this strap and fitted by local AD today

Always fancied a blue dial watch, the watch had a steel bracelet but saw LukeBirds deployment strap on a thread last week and fell in love with it

Took a punt and well delighted

Thanks to LukeBird for the assistance in pointing me in the right direction

I quite like that , certainly stands out in the regular crowd. My immediate thought was the film Men In Black, I recall agent J having something similar

    You’re very welcome. 👍🏻
It looks excellent on that strap, I could be tempted on one for my SMPc too, which has been on the Isofrane style OEM for years now.

My today's arrival on a strap that I thought could allow me to dress it down a tonne in a semi-classy manner. I think it's working.

Dull old day, but this rolled in yesterday to brighten it up. Just need to get the right strap on it. Currently on a Sinn rubber (from my ezm2), but thinking black leather. Looks great on almost any NATO too

Ha ha yes my poor photography skills as always - watch is stunning though. Over the moon. Though my plan was to reduce but I wasn’t going to turn this down. Not sure my white dial will stay now.

Very nice Devonian. Now that you've added it the white can make way for something else. Let's see what Tuesday brings.

Please tell me you didn’t get that today. I emailed the AD two days ago and said take me off the list for one.

Not exactly a new incoming but an incoming of sorts. Bought this in 2005. I was on a Caribbean cruise and stopped off in Belize. There was a new store that had opened that day and I paid £750 for this the automatic version. Turned out on subsequent cruise stops and looking in different stores that they charged me for the battery version and I should have actually paid £900. I wore it for sometime but eventually bought a yachtmaster and ended up selling it to my colleague. He didn’t particularly look after it, which weirdly kind of annoyed me a bit, so three or four years ago I bought it back off him. One of my sons has had it and worn it for a couple of years and when he bought his own watch, it’s been unworn since. Sent it off to Omega for a service and to replace a few bits. Very pleased with the result.

Another SPB149 joins the forum. Early days but enjoying it so far, though the infamous bezel alignment issues are present - even if minimal.

Smaller than I thought, but very striking and most comfortable.

And for you Rolex fanboys, something new for you to collect.

Very nice. I've tried on a pre-ceramic and it was tiny on me but apparently the white dial with the ceramic wears a bit bigger.

Yeah, definitely smaller-wearing than the Sub/GMT/ExpII, but my wrist is on the small side (6.75") so still fits well. Really enjoying the mix of the white and black. [I was actually surprised at how small it looked when I first tried it last week, but I didn't want to pass it by as I've been on the list for a few years now.]

Two brilliant incomings. Well done both! I once tried the ceramic Daytona and also felt it very comfortable, more comfortable than other oyster bracelet watches, perhaps it is lighter?

Pepsi is striking and I think one of the most attention grabbing of the current lineup.

    Cograts Seadweller and juke.

Dare I ask. How long on the waiting list and what turn over on non-‘professional’ ans non- Rolex over last 2 years ?

    Hi,

A few years ago, I let go of my Amvox 2 Black concept to fund another watch. I have been regretting it ever since.......

An opportunity came up for the DBS version and I took it! When I first decided on the Amvox 2, I was torn between the Black Concept and the DBS. I thought that since I have given the Black a go, why not try the DBS this time!?

    Quick iphone pic.

Been great to have the Amvox 2 back on the wrist. It is so surprising that it is a watch born almost 15 years ago! It still looks so young, sharp and fresh (in all its iterations)! Very comfortable to wear despite the large size. So pleased I have a member of the Amvox family back!

A question about the chronograph function. I recall the minute counter is what we call a “semi-instantaneous” jump. What about the half hour counter? I notice it seems to move in little steps (as opposed to a distinct jump every 30minutes) as the minute counter elapses. Is that right?

lovely watch - i've always admired these. Great value for money these Amvox2. As to your chorno question, could be either. Wouldn't put it past jlc to ensure both minute and half hour function the same
