Well chuffed with this. As the watch originally came from Precista House it seems apt to have put it on a Timefactors Precista strap.

Popped over to Hugh Rice this afternoon following a heads up on a BB58 on leather. Long story short, I ended up coming out with this:

Always liked these, although prefer the gold accents one but this is lovely in my opinion and different to what I have. Only reason I didn't get the BB58 is I managed to get something sorted elsewhere for a bracelet version albeit with a slight wait.

Not used Hugh Rice before but had a great few hours there - lovely person to deal with (Claire) who was still happy to chat all things (watches, football, music) even though I'd said at the beginning I was unlikely to buy the BB58. It was only after I was leaving I saw this in the window and went back in to look/buy!

This is cheating a bit, but it has 'arrived' and it looks like it's new after a service at Rolex St James. It's been gone for 2 month, so pleased to have it back.

    My latest:

The very first "proper" watch I bought, some 40 years ago, was a Sekonda (Strella) chronograph, now long destroyed/lost, and I have hankered after another Russian watch for some time now. I have looked at Poljot24.de site often and been attracted to the "OKEAH" chronograph because of it's clear retro looks. I finally took the plunge as I understand the Poljot 3133 movement is no longer made and I wanted to get one whilst they were still available and before there was any further erosion of the Ä/£ rate. I have to say that Julian Kampmann's excellent reputation was also a factor in deciding to purchase. Well here it is; arrived today. I am delighted with it! Very impressed with the finish/quality of the watch which has definitely exceeded my expectations. The first class service and clear communications from Julian Kampmann made the purchase an absolute breeze.

Come to think of it I had a watch that was the same, except the Ďtailí was underneath the other part of the strap so there wasnít anything poking out. Guess youíll get used to it quickly!

To be honest and Iíve only had it on since about 2pm today, itís genuinely that comfy I donít realise. I suppose it helps a bit more being black and black deployment. I did debate switching it around yesterday though!

Thanks! I just love it. Can't capture the elegance of the silver dial in sunlight, it's magnificent. Definitely my favourite watch.

Nice one Jon, it looks stunning and well worth the wait. Did they polish or refinish the bezel during the service?

Picked this one up a couple of weeks ago on another forum. 2011 model, possibly one of the last 16570 produced.

Got this last night, traded with my Zenith Defy Classic.
Sad to see it goes but wasn't getting wrist time.

Love the size and fit plus it's my first ever white dial.

I've had this Seiko for about 6 months, not liking bracelets for the extra weight they add I've tried at least half a dozen straps and at last I'm happy with this £6.00 ebay offering.

This came today, the black strap it came on was too small for me, so itís on this for now. I do like a lot. If I could find a bracelet that would fit it Iíd be super happy.
