Looks a beauty Tony. I saw you pounce on it just as I'd started negotiations and got paid by a client. Literally beat me by minutes.

Very, very nice. Had it been a '71 I'd have beaten you to it - birth year and all that.

    Enjoy!

Picked this up at the weekend

Not as nice as the majority of watches on this thread but not bad for 15 quid.

Very nice Mr T, the sweet spot for me @36mm! Had quite a few variations over the years like yourself but don't see my grey 1601 going anywhere either...

Package arrived today which I had forgotten all about! I ordered this back in May on Kickstarter after I may have consumed a couple of glasses of wine too many.

Very excited to have this arrive today. Thought I was out of the game with no new watch for 2 years, but drawn back in recently. No more inexpensive watches I told myself, but I was seduced by the dial, and that was it.It is a lovely thing

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Received the GF's new Bullova 96r181, thought it was a bargain on Amazon for £139 (reduced from £243 or £350), and beginning to wonder if this was a 'DFS sale' type item, went into Ernest Jones to get the bracelet Fitted, only to note they sold it for £550 (seem to have different item numbers mind) Loads of brownie points, as I never mentioned to the gf what I paid.
Any thoughts on the pricing policy? Bargain or pretty normal?

I believe the negotiations referred to were with his client, rather than with you.

Love that, Howard, and still looking to trade my SD4000 for one ;)

Recently picked this up ... not sure whether I'll get on with the numerals on the dial (make it a bit busy IMO). But something originally appealed so will give it a shot.

Found this thread on here from a few years back which gives a bit of the history of the watch, very useful as I knew nothing about it !!

Mine seems to have a non-hacking movement so assuming that it houses the GUB movement rather than the ETA mentioned in the above post but seemed to be relatively accurate

    Anyway onto the pics...

Just bought this as a cheap office watch. Decent quality for £149 and the crystal can be polished (Unlike my old Max Bill).

Managed to finally get a hold of an EZM2 as I missed this one when it came up for sale, but the buyer very kindly got back to me after I told him I would be interested if he wanted to move it on. Fantastic piece and hopefully the last purchase this year. Picture below with two other arrivals from this year.

been ill all week and extremely tired. Woke up this morning, checked my emails and found that in my sleep I ordered a SKX007 on brown leather and 5 nato straps. I HAVE NO RECOLLECTION of doing this .. could have been worse. Photos to follow!

This arrived this morning and I am chuffed to bits...

I'd been on the hunt for a pie pan Constellation and the hunt wasn't going too well. Then this popped up on SC and I jumped on it. It came on it's original bracelet but have been trying a couple of different looks on leather.

    Firstly, a nice brown cordovan

and now a black strap from Hirsch

I'm toying with the idea of sourcing a dark inky blue strap but it might be too much blue. Or should I stick with the bracelet?

Now on a modern 78360..I like this look

Sorry, I wasn't clear, I was negotiating domestically and waiting to be paid before bothering you. The money landed and I was looking for your sales listing and I saw LTF was more nimble than me. Them's the breaks.

It looks lovely, and the strap that he's added really does it justice. A lovely piece.

Sorry Paul, my misunderstanding, I was negotiating with someone else prior to finalising the deal with LTF, and just knew it wasn't yourself. The DJ is really is a stunning, better in real life, and with LTF's excellent images.

Just arrived from a private seller on Chrono24 in Germany. I'm always a little nervous on there but I've done three private, overseas deals without issue so far. It's a 2007 watch but had a full service at Sinn two months ago complete with new battery, oil, hands & dial. It looks like new and has both silver and black bezels, plus the bracelet.

I use postimage.org as its free and has never caused an issue for me. Copy the "hotlink for forums" after you upload it, then back out everything that's outside the [img] brackets and you're hot to trot.

    Nice Tudor btw.

Thanks for the advice Timeout, appreciated.
I'm very, very pleased with the watch, at a price i really couldn't resist . I was considering the leather perforated strap but after receiving it on the bracelet i'm no longer sure.
was this or the Longines Heritage 1954 but overall i just couldn't say no.

    Impeccable choice DB.
Can't wait to see it on sharkskin

    One of these:

Wanted one for ages. Some trepidation about the perspex, but have brasso on hand as and when needed.

This is the smallest watch I've owned, I'm much more used to 38-42mm, but I don't feel like it looks too small on the wrist at all.

    Loving it so far.

Ta very much. I'm trying to source a bracelet for it at less than BP's price of *gulp* £2500!

Lume is great, 5 day reserve, it's very subtle and the size works far better on me than the standard FF's 45mm. The quality of the whole package is superlative. It might be traded one day for the chronograph version, but I'll enjoy it for now. It's the right FF for me at the moment.

I thought the BP NATO couldn't be improved upon, but that stingray is very cool. Look forward to seeing it on the sharkskin, and best of luck with the bracelet hunt!

Thanks Mark! Bought on SC a long while ago; the original owner had it made for his FF but never fitted it, sold it to me to try on my VC (22mm, so it didn't fit); it's quite appropriate it's on an FF finally!
