You are a rascal Paul and no mistake.

An opportunity came up to join Paul as a fully paid up member of the Marmite Club, so here goes...

Some itches need scratching, but I do have to say that the build quality is absolutely superb.

    Tag Heuer Multigraph (2000 series?)

Been thinking about getting one of these after seeing one in a local jewellers a few years back....
Always been a bit of an ana-digi fan too having owned aerospace's and a chronotimer in the past.
A bit smaller than I'd usually wear but it's ace, almost as new condition too.
Only issue is the better half has taken to it so looks like I'll be taking a few more links out and letting her wear it for a while :-)

Picked up this Hamilton Intra-Matic on a recent Holiday. It came on a plain black strap, have changed it for a Brietling style strap from Watch Obsession.

Nice pick up. Have been looking for proper pics of that Heuer on a proper strap!

I had to book a doctor's appointment for the Heuer as it was running seriously fast. It was cured by demagnetising, but then the watch doctor found a rather weak movement, which somehow contradicts with the watch's backstory of a recent service. So we decided it stays in the watch hospital for a few days for a proper diagnosis. The strap is still in the shop, thanks for the reminder.

    Farer Ainsdale arrived today!

Very pleased with it. I know some won't like the way the sub-dials cut through the indices, but that doesn't bother me.
Impressed with the attention to detail such as the date background being the same Navy blue as the face.

I love the split-second and flyback movement, which I could never afford in mechanical form. The 72 month battery life is a bonus too

    It's a Sinn 103 A SA B Limited Edition of 500. I don't know how I could live without it until today.

Thanks. I'm not generally a fan of either pandas or chronographs with the 'vertical' sub dial layout, but that's a great example of both. Doesn't even look that busy with the day / date either. Enjoy!

Down in London for the weekend to see a show, decided to take a tube out to Hyde Park this afternoon and called in to Harrods for a bit of window shopping. Wandered into the Rolex section and spotted the near impossible to find Explorer I.

Having been a long time admirer of the Explorer I, the temptation was too great. Absolutely delighted with it.

I’ve owned a few B&R and I think this is their finest moment. The quality is up there with all the more preferred brands. I’m already starting to look for an orange dot one and keeping both!

A busy week of new arrivals for me!

One of the most exciting being getting a new movement for my ana-digi Heuer. Will be great to bring it back to life!

I have the same speedmaster but hardly wear it. Every time I see one, I think to myself I need to get it back on the wrist. Great looking watch!

New to me. Lucky enough to have landed this off Mark Lowman in a cash / part ex deal, a fine '71 step dial speedie with bracelet. I can't stop looking at it. Just trying it on a few of Eddie's natos but would love a calf skin OEM and deployant at some point. Is it worth putting new spring bars in when using a NATO strap?
