The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Am I imaging things, or are dress watches making a slight come-back? If so, about time. That Moser looks like an early Portugeiser. But then, dress watches are pretty conservative in general.

Not exactly a new arrival, but back from a long trip to the watch maker to fix the date wheel.

    AGAIN!
Having sold it to part fund my Sub.
I started to get pangs of guilt.
It was bought to mark my 60th birthday with the date matching that occasion on the card.

    What was I thinking!!!

So before it could be sold I bought it back.

To be kept and passed onto my youngest daughter.

Great lume does it stay that 'lit up' for long?

Congratulations EJL25, Top Cat and Ryan.

I have a lot of respect for these 3 manufacturers and the designs of their timepieces.

Just came into my ownership but I'm told it had a Rolex service in recent years.

Having ummed and ah'd over a new GMT and there are a few crackers out there, in all price ranges, I couldn't resist this after trying one on. I know lots of people are into the ceramic bezels but this aluminium one is just so vibrant. It's got some heft to it but doesn't look like a 43mm to me, (I've a 20.5cm wrist) not until I compare it to my 41mm Aquaracer quartz alarm. I think this might be on the wrist for while! :)

Just got this today, purchased on nato, but that was remedied with an order for a bracelet.

Fiancée brought me this back from Heathrow airport duty free..not even a special occasion or my birthday!!!

To say my Gast has been flabbered is an understatement.
Months of banging on about my grail watch must of sunk in.

Decided to try one of the cheap MN style straps from eBay. For £15, seems very good so far.

My first foray into the Rolex madness.........

Wasn't sure about buying a ND, but loving the simplicity of it- Only two weeks wait, may do the lottery, must be my lucky week :-) [IMG][/IMG]

Had one before, foolishly sold it. Now put that right.
So, this is my, tiny, collection of mechanical watches.

    And

That’s it. One ‘posh’ and one ‘bombs away chaps.’
