I've had several of these, always impressed with the build quality and dial.

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

I picked this up last week having spent ages working out if the 3330 movement was worth it....decided it was.

Indeed Warren, I can see why this microbrand has gained such a cult following. It wears beautifully and I've already noticed a few design cues to help usability. It's feels very solid indeed and I'm sure it will hold up to a lot with everyday wear.

Yea I always thought I'll never get another light dialled watch for legibility but the DLC finished markers really stand out against the light blue dial, which in itself is a bit unique. Win-win!

Very nice, you do not see many Sarpaneva's about. Sarpaneva is likely to be my first foray into independent watchmaking.

If you email Claude.northsea69@gmail.com you can still get one. There’s circa 30 of the 100 remaining. Good luck.

Just to add Claude gives you a unique link to the Steinhart main website so you place your order and pay them - so just like buying any watch direct from Steinhart.

Lovely watch, but for the life of me I can’t work out why they didn’t make the date wheel the same shade as the dial.

Thanks. Truly interesting watch, and great to see some close ups. There are a few design cues that I had not picked up on before - love it, and think I will own one at some point if the opportunity arises

Having foolishly sold my ETA Pelagos a month ago and then realising how much I loved it, thanks to a face to face with Alex I now have this on my wrist, and as I'm left handed it's a right result.
It reminds me of a left handed Sinn that I bought and again foolishly sold on.
Loving the splash of colour, creamy lume and roulette date wheel. This one is going nowhere!!

New arrival today, another Smiths for the collection.

A different movement for me and a great way to alter the time.

That's really nice. Shame the 'normal' Pelagos has the white markings and not those lovely cream tones. Not sure I could bring myself to buy a watch with the crown on the 'wrong' side though.

New arrival this week - divides opinion, but no doubting the quality, attention to detail and depth of the dial...

Great picture - rarely does one see a watch fit a wrist so well (especially on bracelet). This watch matches your wrist size perfectly.

    Enjoy!

Why thank you John. It feels just right for me being left handed a bit like when I write out a cheque using my left handed cheque book rather then a right handed one!
I'm sure I will still enjoy my other watches with the crown on other side though.
Edited to add, I can get the perfect fit with this new Pelagos whereas with my previous ETA version the bracelet was always just that little bit tight or loose so that's another result.

Very nice Ryan. The white dial with painted lume plot PAMs are very much under appreciated.

And the T each side means the lume is tritium that emits less than 7.5 mCi. (7.5 millicurie of radioactivity)

I love the fact that he got Moser to put minute markers onto it - none of the standard versions of this model have them.

Bryan Ferry worked with Moser to re- imagine one of their vintage pocket watches. I think they nailed it.
