392 - it’s 42mm so more of a gateway pam for those of us with skinnier wrists

This Astroavia arrived from Germany today. The pedigree isn't 'royal,' but I really like the look. I had another Astroavia about 15+ years ago and liked it alot, too.

I am rather pleased to wearing my latest incoming... I thought the bracelet would be a problem but it is easily the best mesh that I have tried, supremely comfortable.

Looks great on mesh. I obtained a new old stock Omega vintage mesh for my 1972 seamaster chrono. Shocked to find it was not long enough for my wrist.
Had to buy a clip in mesh extension. Cost a lot more than I anticipated. Looks great though.

A bit of a spur of the moment purchase this afternoon. Out of the blue, it could be said...

But I couldn’t resist that dial.

Sales lady said she had something that may interest me. and came out with this

Just before the price rise too.... so I’m chuffed to bits.

It is not for everybody, i know.. but the level of finish, the quality and accuracy of the movement, the case intricacy, the details.. everything just POP! Not your tipical speedmaster.

I like a bargain and whatever you think of the watch, it only cost the same as 4 gallons of petrol delivered from Hong Kong.
Seiko meca-quartz vk67 movement, keeps fantastic time and if it was 4 or 5 times the price the finish would be more than acceptable.

Thanks, it’s 42.3 I think. Due to the lugs it wears well but it is a large dial.

As it’s their ‘sports watch’ it’s ok to be large. Lovely domed sapphire too, on rubber and 120wr in steel makes it a great casual wear.

They do a blue fume dial as well but wanted something more unusual and the green is certainly that!

It's a Z serial from 2007, no engraved rehaut but solid end links and no-holes case. The previous owner hardly wore it in 11 years and when he did it was covered in tape as he works at Bentley and couldn't risk knocking any bodywork! He had the cyclops removed by the AD and I quite like how subtle the watch now wears without it. It's my under-the-radar office watch and after having variously considered the current Explorer and Oyster Perpetual models I'm very happy with my choice. Original case finish and absolutely no bracelet stretch. Great value vs the equivalent GMT Master.
