Not a new watch but a new strap for an old watch. Never been happy with the Pelagos on bracelet - much prefer this

Thank you kind Sir — I must admit to being very pleased with it.
It fits very well into my philosophy of favouring small (and to be snobbish about it, exclusive) manufacturers offering high levels of craftsmanship whenever I can. Hence Dornblüth, Moser, and Grossmann in recent months.

I’ve been looking at Dornblüth lately. Lovely watches.

Definitely high level and great attentions to details and finishing...would be nice to see macros of dial and movement....well done again!!!

Here’s one I’ve wanted to try for a while. I’m really taken with this, and it came from a chance phone call to Rolex Leeds this morning.

Very nice - is that the one from watchfinder? I was looking at that one myself. Personally think the gen 2 are nicer than the 3

Its turned up at last. Im delighted that it wears a good size but disappointed that the supplied strap has such an extreme taper, I've scrabbled around for an 18mm strap to butcher until I can get something suitable made. Its a real shame as i think the strap will put a lot of people off if they are just trying it on in a shop. Other than that the fit and finish seems fantastic and I'm loving the date complication.

Great choice! Of the many “military” Chrono offerings available the cp2 is probably the best

Looks great. I hear what you're saying about the taper. How does the 17mm lug width work--does it look alright?

Looks fine, I just can't see why they would not have gone for an 18mm width and a more standard 16mm buckle. I've ordered a green perlon to see how that looks. I think I'll wait to see how the patina develops before ordering the custom strap as I think that will be the colour im looking to match.

    One to upset the purists...

1920s Vulcain based marriage watch... got worn solidly over the weekend and never missed a beat; really very good time kept too (spot on), was surprised

Thanks... dia excluding crown is 48, with it is 51. Lug to lug is 56 and max height 16 (crystal is slightly convex).
It is a large thing but still perfectly wearable I found. But am used to wearing big Pams

Was looking forward to the reissue of this, but when i heard it was going to be 44mm, i thought i'd best find an original :)

May prove to be a good investment if you ignore the fact it could've been an even better investment if you didn't sell the first one!

Q&D, so apologies for the harsh light and distorted perspective - wears pretty much perfect at 38mm 👌
