Yes,I finally got one I’ve sold a lot of watches this year some for me quite expensive.
This ones here to stay [ive said that before] and I am determined to wear it not store it.
In true fashion I have put my 20mm Phoenix strap somewhere ready for the watch and now I can’t find it

This Sinn 140 arrived from Ben this week. I'm currently undecided on whether to leave it as is or go for a sympathetic refinish. The NSA style bracelet it came on has a really nice extension piece (pay attention GS!) but I haven't tackled resizing it just yet...
I've always had a soft spot for the navy so after wearing a battered one very happily for a while I decided to go for an unworn one as a fairly permanent resident before it's taken over by the new model.

Have just picked up my order from H Samuel which was the very last Bulova Stars and Stripes that they had in the company. I was worried if it was going to be a complete set etc. I can only sing my praises for my local H Samuel and their customer service. When the watch was delivered to store the lovely heavy box was broken, so they went to great lengths to track down a replacement box and head office sent them the very last mint new inner and outer box. I need not have worried as the watch was complete with everything it should have including stickers etc. A great deal given that it was half price, then they applied the extra 10% discount and then applied a further welcome 10% discount :-)
I also happened to mention I had a couple of Bulovas without boxes (not bought from HS) and the manager kindly gave me two lovely brand new Bulova boxes, 5* service IMO, thank you HS :-)

I don’t think this will ever replace my real watches, and I’ll use it for exercise only, but what a piece of tech this is.
That’s what I thought 6 months ago, it’s hardly left my wrist since - and almost ended my interest in buying more watches tbh - incredibly useful, well made and designed, light and comfortable and runs for at least 2 days before needing an hour back to full charge. Every time I put on a 3 hand automatic it gets swapped back to the Apple Watch within half an hour!I don’t think this will ever replace my real watches, and I’ll use it for exercise only, but what a piece of tech this is.

I have this little (full-size) number winging its way to me, my quest is done! The coaxial is somewhat of a grail watch for me so can't wait til it arrives, better wrist shots to follow!
