Excellent choice. Note to self I must get a decent macro lens for my dslr. Finding a bit too restrictive just using iPhone.

Preston's in Leeds still have one of these in the window, or they had last week when I last went past.

Hi Wadsy great strap and fantastic cause. Did you buy it from the CF Trust?

Sold my white gold Daytona to a friend a year ago; now I've persuaded him to sell it back to me. Collected it today. I had forgotten just how much I like it, and missed it.

A forum favourite arrived today - lovely piece that feels far more expensive then it actually is. Odd camera angle makes it look too big, but actually wears very well.

Funny you should say that, last week I let a mate take a watch that he'd been eyeing up for a while, ah one less I thought, and since then I've bought two more,, go figure?

    Congrats!
I do sniff around MeisterSinger from time to time but I'm discouraged by the fact that they don't reflect the one missing hand in the price! ;)

New 2018 Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical arrived last night, super quality, comfort and fit for a smidge over £300.

Seikos and sales are things best avoided.

After a number of years not feeding the habit on the basis of being happy with the various watches I had, I met this.

    This led to another.

A new incoming this week… a Seiko Explorer mod. Very nice feeling on the wrist, and the first time I have used a Euilt Perlon. The quality is outstanding, but it does seem a bit stiff and not overly comfortable compared to cheaper materials. I’ll give it a good few days of wear to see if it eases.

Like with a lot of Mod elements, the lume on the dial and hands don’t really match (actually not sure the triangle and the markers do) but if I like this enough I might invest in getting that sorted… if you enjoy the watch its worth the cost!

Picked this one up in York yesterday. Seamaster 60th anniversary.
I much prefer this one to the Seamaster MC300 which wore too large for me.
The bezel in particular is lovely on this one.

Some lovely shots there Michael. I particularly like these two showing the Omega symbol on the crystal being picked in the hour hand. Almost had me rethinking my decision to leave the one I saw yesterday. Good job that AD is closed today!

Picked this up for less than £50 still stickered, think it's the best value beater I've owned.

Only my second brand-new-from-the-shop watch ever (my first was a Tag F1 10 years ago which started this madness) and I have to say I’m very impressed so far.

I wanted something completely under the radar, something simple, but with cool tech behind it. This is what I’ve gone for. The Damasko DA36 with bracelet. Probably a little left field for some - I think that’s in part why I like it! The bracelet really is something special.

I’m still a season ticket buying Rolex fan, but I’ve come to not like the company as much as I like the watches so I’m giving the brand a rest for a while. For now, this will be my only watch (once I list the 2531 on SC and Gs don’t count naturally!!)

Number 70. New to me today but seemingly on its fourth owner (the promiscuous little minx). Been after one for a while and SC (with a little help from TaketheCannoli) came up trumps.

Not sure the standard grey Nato really shows this watch in the best light, think I'll see what other people are wearing theirs on.
