    Sub-u-like

Really very impressed with it, much more so than the Ocean One I tried previously. Bit of overkill with the name twice on the dial but otherwise the beast non-Sub Sub I've tried.

The picture does it no justice, it's an AMAZING watch, cosmetically and internally.

It is the SBDX012. I got this from another German jeweller so don't think it was the same one.

    3 new incomings for me!

Ive had a god week or two, with 3 new arrivals!

Ive "fancied" an Oris for a while now. I recently missed one on the S.C. , so I put up an ad. in the W.T.B. and the TT1 arrived. I was really surprised how much I liked it, and how well made it was etc. So.............I then decided to buy another Oris.....and the small seconds fitted the bill perfectly..(I love a bit of orange!).

Then for the Tag Heuer Gulf...........I like Tag Heuers............I know many don't! I don't care....cos I do! I have wanted the gulf F1 for a while...I "missed"! this particular watch twice (because I was in work when it was listed!)....luckily though I managed to get it this time around! I find the bracelets on F.1.s really comfy....but I will also get a nice leather strap made for it. Now for some quick pics for you.

Wow...this Parnis stuff seems to look more and more interesting nowadays. Can't say it looks like anything much either.

    What's the movement inside these?

A trade has brought me one of my long-term "wants": an X-33! I slightly prefer the look of the Gen 2 (and imagine that crown is a lot easier to use than the Gen 1's) but either way it's a bona-fide legend and a lovey thing. Also, inquisitiveness and a desire to get some fluff out of the sound chamber on the back (OCD? Me?) had me taking the back off to find a 1666C movement which I believe is the Omega thermo-compensated version which is put in at service... Potentially rather interesting!

First ever Seamaster - knew nothing about this watch, and really didnt know what to expect... but it's TOTES AMAZEBALLS!!!

I especially like the silvered numerals on the date wheel, on a black background - perfection! It's the small things like this that can make / break a watch!

Congratulations Adrian, you have had 3 incredible watches arrive in 2 days.
I hope you find a rotation system that works?

ps exactly how much did you win on the lottery for all these purchases?

    Enjoy.

Some very high end watches in this thread (not that that's a bad thing! been there myself) so here's something to tone it down a bit!

A quirky little incoming from a company called Slow, this one is the Jo 17.

I'v always wanted to try a one-hander, and this one has a 24hr dial which I think is a nice touch. The case and strap build quality look like they're gonna be good, its not too big at 38mm wide, and I love the colour combo... all for a shade under £190.

    About 4 times better!

It looks, feels and seems to fit just so much better.

Cant put my finger on it, but it seems much better quality.

I like the slightly bigger size too.

    AWESOME!!!

I'm watching one of these on Ebay, was tempted to get but something held me back, what's it like in the flesh? Seems a lot of watch for the money and doesn't look half bad either.

I received this today, purchased from SC. I've been looking for a more dressy watch for quite a while, but just haven't found the right one. This one is absolutely beautiful, in perfect condition, 34mm and the Phlippine Airlines logo on the dial adds something that just makes it work for me.

Picked this up a few weeks back, fancied something a bit different and neither of the more obvious Breitling & Omega offerings floated my boat...
