Wife gifted me a Pelagos 42mm whilst on a recent cruise holiday. Have wanted a blue dialled watch for a while. A welcome change to the black dialed divers I usually wear. Two weeks onboard was just too long to resist purchasing a new watch.

The shop on board had Tudor, Breitling, Bremont, Longines, Rado, Seiko, Oris, Tissot, Hamilton, Alpina, Citizen, Tag, Frederique Constant and possibly more. Also some overpriced preworn Rolex models.
Service was excellent. The retailer is a Tudor AD so had no concerns over warranty. Teenage son benefited from a cash back voucher and bought Citizen BN0168-06l so smiles all round.

That looks lovely and I like their lacquer dials too. I hadn't heard of them before, thanks for the link.

I like their stuff very much, it has an air of genuine originality whilst clearly tipping a hat to vintage sensibilities. But I have always thought that the absence of anything under the 12 on the dial makes it look a little unbalanced.

    New arrival from Japan

Paid on Monday, shipped Tuesday and arrived this morning. How’s that for speed?

SBGN003. It’s everything I hoped for, and some more. I’m intending wearing it on NATO, so I have removed the unsized bracelet and it’s wearing a Bark & Jack ribbed.

New to me :) A nice tritium 14060. I’m chuffed at how well it wears for a 39mm watch. Perfect sizing .

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Bought two watches this week, can’t stop wearing this one, always wanted one and finally found a stunner in excellent condition.

The blue dial and bezel are sublime, always been my favourite Seamaster this model and then the 2254 (well apart from the NTTD version but then that is serious coin).

Not sure the other one is going to get a look in, I wonder if having this and a 2254 is too much?

That is lovely. I has a black dialled one briefly, which I always regretted parting with. Now and I again I look out for another, or indeed a blue one.

Congratulations, I think these are quite underrated possibly because of the lack of a wave dial but the dial is stunning in person, lovely deep glossy blue.

This arrive from a TZ member last week. It's a beautiful watch, and with the quick change straps and links its very versatile.

Stunning watch, I had one of these. IMHO looks nicer on the superb rubber strap it also comes with

Very true Ryan you can dress it up or down in an instant with the brilliant quick change system. The rubber strap makes it so much lighter.

Exciting day! My first Rolex, well over 2 years in the making. A rather lovely ‘ghost bezel’ 16610 from 1993. I’m very happy.

Big thanks to Dominic Hackett who I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I walk through Hatton Garden on my way to work so great to visit him in his office, total gent and even supplied the nato after I’d told him I don’t like bracelets! Last pic is his. Happy Friday indeed

Cheers, I was a little concerned that it may be a little undersized for my medium wrist size (7.5inch) but I need not have worried as it’s perfect I reckon. A 16600 would be nice to add. Maybe next year :)
