The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

    Got a new watch incoming?

    Excited?!

Just thought it would be nice to have a single thread for the various "incomings" we all have, which in themselves wouldn't warrant a specific thread, but you still want to show them off...

    Here's my first incoming in quite some time (18 months or so), and should be here on Monday...;

Let me know what you think of this as i have tried it on numerous times over the last month and think it would be a good addition to my white 42mm polar explorer.

As i only have a three rule watch it would mean selling an Omega but i really like the Tudor.

My daily wearer is the 42mm Polar ExpII, and I too thought it would be a good pairing :-)

This one (the one on the left)....an old (& not very good) photograph of a lovely watch that is about to return to me. Anyone recognise it?

Just received a bambino from SC, heard so much about them so thought id give it a try

First impressions were good, nice in every way and apart from lacking hacking/winding on the movement (first for me) it is keeping great time

Don't know why but as good as it is i am not 'smitten' yet i cant bring myself to take it off

Precious is not keen at all (brand snob)

I was considering one of these myself but worried they'd be too big for my 7" wrists. To give me some perspective, what size wrist does Precious have?

    Expecting this one on monday!

I had this before..At first I had the yellow dialed version wich a friend of mine liked so much I let him have it. When I told him there was also a black dialed version of it he also wanted that one, wich I found for him. As a watch addict I am always on the look out for the same kind of watches every day (sound familiar?). As I was lurking last week it popped up on the bay in NOS condition...at least that's what the seller said...Both the seiko "CAESAR" snda15P1 and snda13P1 I handed over to my friend were LNIB...I sold these to him about 3months ago... I always regret selling... I didn't really sell them as my asking price was what I paid for them....These are quite rare but for some reason I seem to bump in to them every now and then...Looks like I am getting another change to own a new one. This one I will keep...

And now the hunt for the yellow dialed seiko snda15P1 continuous...

Picked this up earlier this week from Wayne and it's my first venture into the world of AP although I've admired from afar for some time. The build quality and finish are rock solid and the watch is, as it should be for the price, extremely well put together with everything about it feeling and looking just right. My only criticism is the lack of finite adjustment on the bracelet that is up or down by adding or removing a link although they do a 1.5 size link which gives you a touch more precision. I've just ordered another from AP as its a bit tight at the minute and at £115 a pop I hope I only need the one. Also surprising is the lack of any secondary security on the bracelet which would certainly be useful in reducing the heart rate and BP!

All in all though, an absolutely stunning watch and my first taste of the holy trinity

I just paid £125 for my 1.5 link and waited THREE MONTHS for it!

Thats an achingly gorgeous watch, btw.

Thanks Tony! I spoke to Alastair at AP on Wednesday and then got a call from Stefanie on Thursday saying they had one in stock and would get it out to me immediately. I'm not so sure it will do the trick though and may end up, like you, having to get the 1.5. I won't know really until I get the bugger on but its wearable at the minute; just a bit tight!

As I'm unlikely to be picking up anything new any time soon - Here's my recent arrival from almost a couple of weeks ago. 1997 GMT 16710, which I believe was the last of the Tritium dials. I was after an unmolested model and came up trumps with this beauty. It's not been off my wrist since it landed :)

Picked this up from creation for £147 - for atomic, solar very pleased - excuse the ill-fitting 22mm strap just trying it with that to get a sense of what it looks like on leather before buying something a bit more suitable.

Been looking for one of these for a while nice daily beater..
Pulsar Chronograph RAF Civilian version, I believe it's a mark 1. Just need a suitable NATO strap to accompany it, thoughts?

Plenty of shoddy NATO straps on eBay so I'd recommend you buy a decent quality NATO from Eddie's excellent selection: http://timefactors.com/natostraps.htm

    Good Idea this.
Dornbluth came in and went out again.

Just picked up an SKX031 for a modding project and an Omega triple date just because I'd always fancied one.

I seem to remember he left England after getting stick from away fans for being a suicide bomber of all things ( that was a first for me ). I believe the song went:

Mido, he's got a bomb you know
He's got a bomb you know
    Repeat

    Genius.

I seem to recall he was pretty lardy. Middlesbrough fans commented on how he seemed to pile the pounds on during Ramadan.

After six months I didn't manage to bond with the new model Sea Dweller so it's gone.

In it's place I've one of these on route.

I'll post a snap or two soon.
