Right. Thought it might have been smaller being one of the LEs.

A rare beast though, he should offer it on here.

That's a superb photo, they all look incredible there. It's that the 2255 or the 2231 electric blue second from right? In that pic it looks the best of the bunch.

Makes me miss my Great White, it's with Omega at the moment being serviced and refurbed.

Incoming briefly before I took it around to its rightful owner (my father in law). This lovely Rotary was bought as a wedding gift when he married my mother in law 56 joyous years ago (his words...!)

Returned to working order by Brendan (webwatchmaker) following a full strip down and service.

Simple but elegant, I have ordered a new Watch Gecko tan leather strap to go with it.

That’s kind, thank you. Yes it’s the 2255 second from right. A personal favourite of mine but the less popular model for most people it seems.
Enjoy the 2538 when you get it back, I bet you’ll be too scared to wear it

    I've always wanted a "guilloché main" dial -- and I like micro-brands with real capability, so this arrived today . . . . . .

And, yes, that is a humble Unitas 6498.

Very nice and very different, it's certainly well decorated.
Nothing wrong with a simple manual Unitas, I have a 6497 and it does the job nicely. The finish on yours looks top notch

Very impressed with this 40mm new arrival, love the colour of the dial and it’s very comfortable on the wrist.

Nice little eBay bargain arrived today. Genuine omega brown leather strap. The model code 98000195S appears against a few models. Hardly seems worn anyway. Seller even chucked in an omega travel case too.

I'd like a genuine deployment for it but for now I've picked up a generic one. Still to arrive.

Second time i have owned one of these massive big boys but at £399 in Ernest Jones sale i couldn't resist and unlike my last Rolex it came with hang tag and stickers still on it.

Not been outside yet to set time with GPS as it's raining here in the north west.

    Stunning!
I've owned all four at various times but individually, not together and sadly no longer own any of them

I don't normally bother with this thread, I'd spend half my time posting pics if I did, but this arrived today and I'm VERY pleased with it. I've said it before but I think I'm happy with what I've got and will hopefully stop spending so much time browsing for the next one.

I've just bought a Seiko Presage SRPD37J1. I have previously said that it was too big for a dress watch at 40.5 mm. However the green dial is very appealing and that is the only reason I decided to go for it. So far I can only go by Internet pictures where the watch is shown under bright lighting. My fear is that in reality the dial will appear black most of the time. We shall see!

After the Lange... here’s my new arrival.
I bought it a couple of weeks ago, arrived from the US today. I thought I’d be flipping it straight away but I think it’s pretty great. The movement feels really good (apparently modified ETA2824) and for £350 (that’s with import taxes and shipping) for a Swiss watch you can’t go wrong I think. The original strap is rubbish though, so I put it on an aftermarket tropic strap. This is the largest (42mm) watch I own, but doesn’t feel like it, probably because it’s about 10mm thin - one of the thinnest divers on the market? I decided to buy it because I wanted a beater diver that doesn’t look like Rolex Sub. And I think I nailed it.

Well, after 2 months of waiting I finally got my very expensive bottle of aftershave last week. They threw in a watch to soften the blow.

I believe it's a telemeter scale in km (sound travels approx 1200 kph). There's also a tachymetre scale (tricky to photo)

Ah yes - I've not seen one that I recall going up so high before. The only one I had stopped at 5, and then the tachymetre scale started.

Another Mako XL. It’s a sickness now.
On this beads of rice bracelet, I honestly feel like I might never take it off my wrist.

Cut to a months time and it’s in a cupboard and I feel the same about something else.
