Looks like it has vibes for days! I wonder if the modern Tudors will age this well.

I think so too. I’d love a 36mm but they are not exactly easy to find. Thankfully I have a bigger wrist and the 39mm looks good.

Cheers - I really love these. Modern superluminova won’t age like tritium - but who knows they might still look good in 40 years (the black Bays etc)

What's the point in being a member of a watch forum and agreeing to not buy any watches - doesn't make sense

That is a stunner and I love that dial. Just googled it, a Whale Shark limited edition - superb.

Cheers for the positive comments! It's slimmer than I expected it to be so wears well for it's size.
This forum's cost me a fortune over the years!

Nice addition. Been considering one myself but the watch box is now full and can't decide which one could go to make room for it.

I still need to make room for the one I got today. So much for 1 in 1 out.

This arrived via the forum; been meaning to buy one for a while. Actually like it a lot and the denim is not obvious indoors.

Picked this up this morning. I'm pretty chuffed with it - a rare thing, an eBay bargain, no other bids. Apart from minor bracelet scratches on the case back, it is in almost NOS condition.
I do love a bit of titanium

Nice. Always had a soft spot for these. It's a 42mm case isn't it? I thought it might wear too big hence me never grabbing one.

It wears much smaller as it's quite slim. I'm normally a 39-40mm man but this works well for me

Needed a chrono in the collection, this will be the fourth watch with my all time favourite 5100 movement (Sinn EZM1, Speedy 125, Speedy Mk 4.5) that I have owned over the years.

Without a doubt it is the best value, but aside from that there was no bonding period required, out of the packaging onto the wrist and I am smitten. What better brand than Lemania for a 5100!?

(ps thanks to @sweets for his advise and opinion, no one knows Lemania better.)

Thanks Doc! It has one of those dials that appears different depending on the light - matt grey, black, flat, but then the light catches the textured ridges and looks almost metallic! Love it.

Dug out this post from a while back with piccies of lots more 5100 in case anyone is interested:

Chrono central minute hands - show me yours? (tz-uk.com)

    Rob

ps: love the Tutima, a brand also well known for using the Lemania 5100 funnily enough!

I saw that, great pick up.

ps - the Speedie 125 uses a Lemania 1340 derived movement, totally different to the 5100.

Of course! Good catch Sweets :)... I did know that, in fact I mention it in the post that I linked above! I miss that lump of 125.

I'll stick to what I know and just call it central minute chrono!

Love that and spot on about Lemania. Reminds me alot of the cushion case Speedsonic(which of course I'm also a fan of).

I love Lemania's but the horizontal styled tapestry type dial just makes it look so retro.

Retro tan rally strap arrived today and went straight on, perfect combo, although I do have a couple of retro bracelet options on the way.

(Also just noticed I spelled advise / advice wrong, how embarrassing! )
