I was just browsing the bay not 5 minutes ago and innocently searched for 'CWC G10 sapphire'. This was ending with 1m left:

What are you going to do?

Got it for holidays, diving GMTs are pretty rare, it turns out.
It’s a beast, but it wears comfortably, and it was cheap enough to be a good holiday beater. Build quality is amazing for the price.

Did you manage to get it??

I bet him £50 it would be worth a grand more within 3 years!
Such good value for that watch😄

Never expected I'd be buying a watch out here in Marbella. Not sure I've ever been so thrilled with a watch purchase, I love this thing!

Finally managed to find another one of these. Glad I persisted with the search as I’m now sure of my view that this is the perfect Automatic chrono and always regretted selling my previous ones. (This is my 3rd...)

Rare, perfect size, great WR, brilliant dial, nothing else I’d want in a watch.

Quite like the look of those. Wouldn’t mind one as a beater too. My only concern is the dial is a bit busy but sure it would be fine.

Just ordered a Seiko Great Blue Hole (will take a few weeks to arrive sadly, so the wait begins):

    Lovely!

Under current circumstances, may I suggest you buy a lottery ticket. And walking on water might be worth a try too. ;-)

    Congratulations.

...had to wait all of five days for the arrival of my first new watch in a couple of years, a positive Ebay story.

Snared this my first Vostok from Bob (bparker170).

    Really quirky and fun.

Good choice, it's a nice mod. I have too many of Vostoks and still very nearly bought that one. That bezel is a lot nicer than the stock ones. One of my favourite dials & case. Looks good on the perlon as well.

    Thanks mate.

I tried it on a nato first and for some reason I didn’t feel totally happy with the look.

Tried this one piece perlon and thought it was much better, probably as it’s a neater look without the folded up end a nato has.

I fear I might just have had a slight trouser accident!

That is absolutely lovely I’m on a list. Hopefully. Maybe. If I’m lucky. And live long enough to ever see it....

This landed today. I know nothing about it other than it's something to do with Helmut Sinn and it has a lovely creamy patina. Very nice watch

    Very nice.
Just needs the day date function to be even betterer! Then it would just be a 103 though...

This 62 mas lookalike is really nice; hour marker shapes work v well and the blue dial/bezel is captivating.

Sold as faulty, it took me about an hour or so to fix.
Mid-1980's Casio J-51 'Running Man', I used to have the earlier J-50 and had a hankering for another.

Picked this up on a whim a couple of weeks ago when Ryan posted that he'd found on in a dealer, would anyone like it?

That looks great , nice colour combination, Cyclops kills it for me though, doesn't belong on a Samurai

This brings back childhood memories. Had one of these as a kid. Also had the Casio telephone dialler where you held it to the phone and pressed a button and the watch would send the correct dial tone through the phone to dial the number for you.

Picked this Pogue up last week and have been playing around with different straps. I like it on this Haveston canvas.

Having tried a rose gold Yachtmaster and not really got on with it due to my skin tone and feeling a little ostentatious wearing it I went for an AP ROO in titanium to go with my RO chrono. Went into Blowers for a different SS model and this was there, fresh from an AP service meaning it’s pristine.

And arrived today is the earlier J-50 from 1983.
Some of the display units are not working, it a strip down and clean of the relevant parts should help.

Thanks, I originally went in to look at a SS version on leather and having sourced a bracelet for a previous AP ROO diver I knew just how expensive they are and would always prefer to have the bracelet first and buy alternative straps separately.

I have the AP deployment as an additional extra on my RO chrono and the ROO straps taper to the same length so they’re interchangeable. Just waiting for an APbands conversion kit now so I can fit a camo rubber strap to it ☺️
