Is it just me that thought "Jesus Christ that's a helluva tattoo!!"...? Then I realised it's Specsavers time.

    Nice watch too

Yes received and on the wrist thanks. A few hiccups along the way with the limited initial numbers available but Beaverbrooks came through.

    Absolutely love the watch.

Got the call for the first time for the new 40mm explorer. There are just so many differences between the two.

I'd had a recent respite on the watch buying front due to looking for a new job. However, that was finally broken after securing a new future last week so I treated myself to this rather lovely Seiko from SC.

Not that I can hold more than three seiko model names in my head at once, but what's that called please?

Edit — no need to answer, I found out from your Show Your Seikos post :)

Arrived today. Christopher Ward Dragonfly Blue C63 Sealander GMT.

Hefty, deluxe packaging. Never had a CW before so this was all new to me.

Arrived running and correctly set to time and date- as you can see next to the watch I was wearing as I unpacked.

The GMT hand arrived set to Pakistan fwiw.

Dial is genuinely beautiful. Tricky to photograph because it catches the light and it has a sunray effect. When you directly hold it to the light it’s a very bright, electric turquoise and moves to a much deeper green tone when in shadow. It’s a vibrant, metallic dial with good depth.

This is the new CW jubilee style bracelet called “consort”. It has a butterfly style clasp and no half links so I’m not certain how good the fit is going to be. I need it to be smaller and the screws are so tiny I don’t fancy trying myself so will have to pop into town. But I can say that it’s incredibly well articulated and I can imagine it being very comfortable.

Overall I can say I am really very impressed with the fit and finish. I went a bit mad and ordered three Christopher Ward watches never having owned one before and this is the 1st to arrive. It sets a strong precedent.

This arrived today, need to find a better strap but it's 19mm so a bit unusual.

Finally got my hands on this

A bit pricey at full RRP, however, pretty easy to get a deal if you shop around.

Loved the looks when I first saw it online and must say that in the flesh it’s equally as impressive.

Lovely bracelet, really easy to use micro adjust on the clasp and the dial is really legible with no glare whatsoever - very flat though and the day/date font could be larger.

Might keep this one…more than 3 months anyhow

    Ciao,
    Sanjay

Well, after 1 day I already hate the bloody crown, it's tiny. Yes I know it's automatic but I wear my watches in rotation so it'll be about every 6 week's or so that I'll wear it, I like to wind mine up on initial use.

The good news it it runs absolutely spot on and I do actually like it so I will just have to get used to the crown.

Ohh and for once, I've found a Longines that the Lume actually work's.
I've had many and currently own 5 including this one but I've never found one with decent Lume.

    Sent from a technical device.

I really like these. They have such a unique, minimalist aesthetic. But yeah, at RRP it’s a definite no thanks! I don’t think I could justify paying more than 60% of what they’re advertised at, which means I’ll never get one! Shame really. As others have said, I’d love to hear your thoughts after a bit of time with one.

Bought this last week from Wandril, great seller btw 👍
Anyway, I didn't get my hands on it until Sunday and it has been welded to my wrist ever since.
My usual rotation is 3 days and this week?
I have no urge to wear a different watch, this just looks and feels right.
It's my fourth Sinn and I think I may have an addiction issue.

Well worth it. I have had my titanium 12 for a month and a half now and it has been on my wrist 90% of that time. Amazing sports watch indeed

I love it. It’s unbelievably comfortable. I just can’t work out if I should have gone for a dark dial because I’m very pale. Ha!

Incoming, a Certina DS-4 quartz. 37mm, 7.5mm thick, 100m WR. I think the numerals are lumed.

Coming from Jomashop in the US, $196 inc. import taxes and shipping.

Other dial variants used to be available, and were on a bracelet, so I'll see if a bracelet to fit is still available to order from Certina.

Apparently, the watch I intended as my beater is actually my favourite watch, so I figured I needed to get something I can be a bit more careless with.

The dial is actually sunburst dark brown

I finally managed to pick up one of those fancy MoonSwatches everyone's banging on about.
They only had the stainless steel version though.
Still, pretty happy with it all told.

I hope you didn’t pay over the RRP of £230 for that! If the second hand sweeps rather than steps, you’ve bought yourself a fake
Very nice, and I’m resisting getting one quite well.

Keeping the Speedmaster theme going, only something smaller and lighter than the standard moonwatch.
