Thank you, yes escape trajectory is a lovely way of putting it and I can't stop looking at the dial of the Fifty Fathoms :)

Another new arrival. An Aquatico Poseidon 300m.

It's rather stealthy with its matte dial, brushed hands and matte/brushed insert. That case is a stunner.

Just landed, and popped onto a Haveston canvas - feels quite appropriate for the vintage-ish vibe.

Seems good fun for the money, build and finish are nice. Was a shame to see it languish on the SC so drank wine and bought it!

Another fine Sinn for my collection

This is my 2nd time buying a U2.
It's the 3rd Sinn in my current watchbox and 5th I've owned.
This purchase was a pain in the arse though TBH.
No fault of the seller, he was brilliant but Customs clearance issues coming from Norway into the EU.
1st attempt at delivery reached Ireland and was returned for incomplete e-declaration, was RTS'd but took over a month to get back to seller.
He then reshipped via UPS and what was a bargain versus most asking prices?
Became a slightly cheaper and 6 weeks later wrist trophy.

I have Red and a couple of black silicon straps for this as well as the bracelet so it might find itself on a variety of straps before I settle back to having it on a bracelet.

    2 for me today.

Had not one but 2 incomings today!

First up is the Tudor Black Bay 58 Black. I tried one on a year or so ago, I kept meaning to get one...but something else always got in the way! A few weeks ago, I got a Blue Black Bay 58 from the forum. As nice as it was, I still wanted the Black one! So this came today!

It came on the Tudor strap and deployant. im not a fan of deployants, so I think it will go on something else!

Second one, is this lovely (its 44mm so not small!) Zenith El Primero Grand Class. Really lovely looking thing, I really like it. This also came on a Zenith Strap and deployant...which will be changed sooner rather than later!

Some quick and dirty pics below.

Thank you! I feel fortunate to have the Fifty Fathoms and no one in my circle of friends has a clue what it is, which is how I like it........

That would be a big cake, plenty for everyone. I liked the analogy that a FF was like a burger and having owned three I get that.

I don’t get the hype around the 5711 etc. This is the PP I would get. Enjoy.

Just delivered, quick soapy scrub and added a link… well happy.
2nd Pelagos and about 5th Tudor. Really taken with the Blue - surprisingly so. It is out of my comfort zone normally.

Yep, 14060M and 114060 will do the bulk of it but I can't enjoy it properly just yet as my wife needs to see sacrifice.

Done for a good while now.

That's lovely mate, and very much suits you 'substantial' wrists

    Could this be it? (rhetorical)

Welcome to the AP ROO 43 Club! Did you buy any additional straps over and above the two it comes with? Look forward to hearing more on your thoughts for this.

    I think you can see its ceramic a bit clearer on my ROO43, below;

With Wiley's new one I think the angle/sun has hit the watch and it looks an all steel case perhaps (no disrespect to your photography skills!!)

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Thanks guys, totally made up but haven't bought any straps yet. I looked before and they were £250 (cheap Vs £240 per side for Oysterflex) but now depending on which part of the AP website you go to it's either £480 or £520, quite a jump! Luckily it comes with two straps.

Lovely detailing under the macro, just don't look too closely at the chrono hand for hours!

I was offered a titanium 43 not long ago but with a titanium bezel so turned it down as I know I'll damage it but the ceramic bezel looks Ti head on.

That's not good, can I ask why it's not already on its way back to AP under warranty, assuming you bought it new? Looks great otherwise

Some stunning incomings recently. I took delivery of this a few days back. I think there was more chance of Everton winning the Champions League than the was me getting the call, so after a bit of honest haggling this beauty on SC found it’s way to me.
