Enjoying it very much so far.
The blue is really stunning and I am also surprised how thin it is. I think it is a good value buy, too considering it is an ISO compliant dive watch from a great brand.

For myself, two pieces a Smiths Commando PRS-47 with acrylic crystal and a Festina Extra 1948 reissue F20248/2.....both excellent watches, especially the Festina for the price point after picking one up new at 55% off the RRP.

Just collected from WoS, Westfield, Stratford. Very nice experience, very attentive staff & a free pouch & a Montblanc pen! Loving my first Tudor!
Continuing the tudor theme, this morning I picked up a black bay ceramic from the tudor boutique in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush.
I’m very pleased with it. Looks even better in person. The sales person said she hadn’t seen one since last summer.

Considering how some recent threads with Rolex in have gone, this might tip some over the edge, but here goes...
I've just traded my blue Pelagos in against this and it's my first Rolex but hopefully I haven't bought a lemon!
It's a 'Y' serial so 2002 with punched guarantee dated Feb 2003, both hang tags and a Rolex service receipt from Dec 2021.
I picked up the box and booklets etc. separately and all seem kosher to me - please chip in if you think not.
I'm missing (I think) the wallet with the tool and dive tables, plus the anchor, what constitutes a 'full set' seems open to opinion..?
I'm guessing it's had service replacement parts and certainly has an 'S' inside the clasp, but so what, the intention is to wear it, although I haven't taken the service stickers off yet. :)
Along with my recently acquired Speedy sapphire sandwich and a couple of remaining beaters, that may be me done for a while.
I might post an SOTC with a list of what has come and gone since I joined all those years ago, and bore everyone to death for 10 minutes.
Indeed. I have a 16600 bought new by me at a Rolex dealer in Tokyo in 2007 and I have everything it came with, up to and including the shop's own wrapping paper for the outer box. Inside, however, I don’t have half the gubbins I now see constitute a “full set” according to eager eBay sellers. But I wear the watch, not the trinkets, so I manage the pain somehow
I also have the 3753.50 Speedmaster, again bought new, and these make a great set. They are both the longest-owned watches I have, which says something. You have done well, sir!
TT
New watch day...
My 22/2/22 pickup was a MN22. Really enjoying it.
[QUOTE=Gavbaz;5941374]Two incomings for me yesterday.
Love that Speedy Gav, I’m getting more and more drawn to one again.
First foray into something that’s vintage (does 40 years old count?) courtesy of Wallasey Runner…
The Vostok Energia Rocket Launch watch, it's not gonna be for everyone.

This Grand Seiko SBGX261 arrived yesterday and so far I’m really enjoying it.
It’s comfy on the wrist and also feels substantial even though it’s only 37mm.
It should be a great grab & go daily wearer.
Just in today and I'm delighted with it
A military issued watch of some importance. Don’t forget that Joe Public couldn’t buy CWC watches until Silvermans started selling them in 1990, so the 80s watches are all made to fulfil military orders and the numbers increased in 1982 due to the Falklands Conflict. Looks good on you Graham
New 41mm blue dial IWC Pilot Chrono
I posted this already in Mr Curta's excellent 25 Years of the X-33 in Space thread, but here for the record:
So many times I nearly bought this over the years. Shouldn't have waited so long.
It immediately feels right at home in my now very small collection.

Thanks, fits perfect. Yes the new 41 fits a lot better for me than the 43. The new bracelet on this is also an engineering marvel, quick release, clasp extension button and every link removable with an individual button. Think IWC hit it out of the park with this one, improvements all over the place including going to in-house movement.
Just arrived today from a great forum member.
Thank you

Picked up this 124060 last week, I love the no date symmetry and have had a 5513 and 14060 previously but both wore too small for me.
Everything works so well, the size, case shape, bracelet and the AR coating all add up to make an outstanding watch.
My first foray into omega. Have toyed with various models over the years, but as I like chunky divers I decided to give this a shot. First impression is that it wears much bigger than the DSSD, feels similar to my 47mm submersible.
Time to decide what goes for my 1in1out policy.

Lots of nice arrivals in the thread!
Here's my new one for this week. Think this takes my regular, rotation watches to one auto, one h/w, one SD and this quartz.
Nice, I think the EZM2 looks at its best with the black bezel
