New arrival on the left. Bought the one on the right last week. Not sure which I prefer.
Have to say I’ve been very impressed with them.
After selling my 5167 a couple of years ago and subsequently regretting it (and not just because prices sky rocketed almost immediately after I sold it!)...it’s good to have an Aquanaut back on my wrist.
Nice. I had an Armida briefly but didn't gel with it. More to do with the fact I didn't need a diver.
Great value though and very good quality.

Continuing the 39mm Steinhart theme, picked this up on e-bay, brand new, still covered in its stickers and a good price reduction on ordering new from Gnomon. This is a numbered edition, but well into 4 figures these days. I've owned a fair few of the 42mm version including the first generation and the PVD version, but I think this is better. I wasn't particularly looking for one of these, but it just seemed too good an opportunity to pass on.
Yeah, the one I messaged you about, it was too good to not have a try at that price. I think I prefer the standard one though, so may get rid of the Olko; I'll have a ponder.
Yeah it's good, just not sure I prefer it to the standard one. I hadn't realised finishing was better than the standard Oceans, does make sense though as it's a really well finished model. My only previous experience with Steinhart was a first-gen 42mm OVM which I really liked, but it was just too big for me.
Oris Diver 65 42mm. Just had bracelet sized in store, couldn’t figure out how the pins worked.

CW2113-0 model of the Monaco... circa 2006. Arrived yesterday. Tag Heuer dial (not Heuer only).
I picked this up online.. with no official box papers. That's not really a thing with me anyway on a piece this age and style.. if I was into the Rolex market then sure.. but at the end of the day if the watch is great then I am happy.
Fully authenticated by the seller, of course and serial numbered. With a year's warranty also.
Was never a huge fan of these in my earlier watch days... but over the years they have grown on me. When you keep going back over the years... and again... and that itch remains. So I saw this at a fair price and took the plunge.
My photography skills are about as rubbish as it gets. Forgive me. It's supposed to be blue. LMAO. And I have since switched this onto a rallye strap... I don't get along with an alligator / croc / whatever skin on a racing watch. These were taken yesterday. And yes.. I will sort the date out. :)
Purists may prefer the Heuer only dial being sold today... and the crown on the left variant.. but each to their own. I am in love with it and that's all that matters. I particularly like that it has a plexi glass.. what with me being a clumsy oaf and that... so I have ordered a tube of Polywatch already.
Anyway... averarge to poor pictures... above average happiness.
Be safe everyone.
Greg.
Cool !

Very nice, I do like a fluted bezel 36mm Datejust on a Jubilee.

This was just too good a deal to pass on - so I didn't:
Another of Kash's old watches, just picked this one up.
This Seiko A547-5020 arrived yesterday (the postie timed her arrival perfectly, ten minutes after my wife had gone out and the boy was playing Fortnite).
It is in lovely condition. I didn't think this hobby would lead to me having a sub-collection of vintage LCDs but that is where it is leading to at the moment
A watch I’ve wanted for a long time and finally decided to bite the bullet on.

Went into my AD expecting to get the white dial but walked out with the black. Luckily they had them both of them for me to compare.com

This came in and I must say, I am absolutely delighted with it.

I tried one of those white dial Seamasters at the weekend. Very nice indeed.
This arrived today. Had convinced myself since release that even at 41mm it would wear too large, but kept coming back to it over the past few months and eventually decided there's only one way to tell..
Half price from H Samuel but I think it's a previously returned watch (crown out, no stickers, hang tag ripped and not on the watch) so will be going back.
