Picked this beauty up from Tarratts Rugby yesterday morning....

The nice young lad that served me also threw in a Tudor watchstand & cuff.

This makes it five chronographs in the collection.

A cheeky question, what are the other chronographs in your collection? I've been looking at these Tudors for a while now and it would be interesting to see how they compare. Thanks.

Hi Sish, my other chronographs are, Breitling Chronospace 46mm, Tutima Grand Classic 80th anni' 43mm, Glycine Airman 9 44mm, & a Fortis B42 Official Cosmonauts. The Tudor comes in at 42mm & is the lower limit diameter wise for my taste, so just makes it. It is very nicely put together with the highly polished case sides, very finely brushed lugs finished off with a lovely polished bevel along the top of the case. This is the most 'delicate' of the group IMO, very elegant & in no way 'toolish' like my others apart from maybe the Glycine which is a fully polished case. Having a 1-12 bezel makes it easy to use as a two-timer. I wear all of them frequently & the Tudor will have plently of wrist-time for sure.
    Thanks for you interest.

Wanted a Watchco after sadly parting with a Seamaster 300. I’m head over heels with this . Wearable as a daily wearer , already dunked into the water to confirm its water resistant and fantastic on a mesh . I’ve got a tube of polywatch and cape cods at the ready just in case it gets a bang. This is guaranteed to be one of my most worn watches

Marriage watch... Send more pics and details. Please dont tell me you got it in Ukraine.

It looks like standard Molnia, with badly repainted and relumed dial.

    I hope I am wrong.

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Arrived this week after an 18 month wait. I fancied something different from my watches with an integrated bracelet.

Thanks for the comments. It could well be a franken but its not a Molnija and I wouldn’t buy a watch from the Ukraine.

Happy to have info on it though. I started another thread here, any comments welcome.

To be fair, I've bought a fair few watches from Ukraine and other Eastern European countries and have never had a problem. Plenty of research and due diligence, mind.

Of course you are right, a bit of a snap response from me and apologies for
    stereotyping a whole nation.

Most of my Helvetias came from Eastern(ish) Europe - Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria etc. I got an unusual strap from the Ukraine as well. It’s just that there are clearly one or more workshops in the Ukraine taking perfectly OK old Helvetias and turning them into something else, with a mixture of old and modern which grates a bit.

New addition - Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 40mm.

Really like the new sapphire crystal and 100m WR with screw down crown, an upgrade compared to the original pointer date, together with the updated hands.

    Stunning watch Chris!
Was it bought from an AD and how long were you waiting for it? Any idea how many watches you have to buy before getting on the list for one of these? I’m still trying to get on a list to buy one

    Nice!!!!

Funnily enough I was eyeing this up on watchclub as an alternative to the white dial Daytona

Congrats. Thinking of biting the bullet and buying via a grey for this one.

Thanks! I was looking at the AP RO Panda they have on there too but ultimately went for this one. I’ve actually stopped looking for Daytona’s when going through Schipol now, such is my satisfaction with this

Recently took delivery of the stunning SMPc. Also had my 2531 returned after I reversed a deal. Not sure there's enough difference for them both to stay.

Stunning watch, I really like that. I was watching your WTB and was willing you to buy, if that's where it came from.

I was tempted by the last time one was listed on SC and was relieved when it sold.

Make sure it's a keeper, prices of limited edition and discontinued Seikos seem to be going crazy at the moment.

Thanks it is a lovely watch. I am not too keen on the bracelet so looking for some nice strap options.

Really don't know why they made the strap as long as it is. Currently looking for a few different options and definitely shorter
