Thanks, it’s definitely thinner, but don’t get too excited as it’s not an ultra thin lol. I’d say it’s now similar to other watches whereas GS were always thick. An improvement for sure, bracelet is a clear step up too. Then the movement is killer and the usual GS level of dial and finish. Adds to the package, but they are charging for it now, U.K. rrp is high!

Certainly not the first to get one, but really pleased with it. Tudor BlackBay 58 in the original colourway, picked it up today from Pragnell in Stratford. Really fantastic AD and very pleasant experience.

They're superb. At the price I don't think anything comes close.

    I've got to agree!

I've just ordered a Vanguard rubber strap for some variety.

Nice, what are the versions you have owned? Did any of them differ wearability wise? I have been accustom to the more heavier watches. The lightness of this is nice but also strange at times.

Oh certainly not something i plan or wish to sell. Its going to be a hand me down. At the moment the kid is still rocking something very different to a PP.

    I've had a 5711 (blue) a 5712, a 3712 and a 5980

The first three wear pretty much the same. The 3712 is almost identical to the 5712, albeit more valuable through scarcity. The 5980 is the only one that wears differently. The big difference is the thickness and weight. It's a more substantial feeling watch, but probably a little less comfortable to wear as a result.

    Stunning that John.
Considered the less complicated version previously and may need to revisit them.
    Congrats and Merry Christmas.

Not my purchase, but arrived from my best mate as one of my Xmas presents, and a lot more interesting than a bottle of booze. He’s a big Life Aquatic fan, so I now have the Steve Zissou Amfibia and some straps too.

I love the blue of the dial. Is it a trick of the light or has the hour hand had the tip sawn off?

Been looking at Chopard for a long time, yesterday I bit the bullet in the Goldsmiths sale with a Chopard classic racing GTS chronograph.

44mm cosc rated on a rubber deployant with 48 hours reserve.

I know there not popular but I’ve been looking at one for a while.

This arrived a while ago but just got around putting it on... the WMT (Watch Experimental Unit) Subdiver. I know it’s a fauxtina, Seiko NH35 powered Rolex homage.. but it’s such good fun, built very nicely as well:)

I bought a WMT about a year ago. For the money it’s quite well made and good fun. The lume is quite good as well

I highly recommend the bracelet in fact - don’t know how much it is to buy separately but it’s well built, has a sub like two part clasp so not flimsy, and looks great

Why don’t we see more Chopard watches around here?

Read all the reviews, tried one back in February and today all the stars aligned. Attachment 18622
Was very nearly side-tracked by the
Blue (looks a lot better on than in a well-lit window display) and they you are, my first Tudor.
Love it and with the in-house movement, 70 power reserve and 5 year warranty I think it is great value.

Not the watch, but the strap. Decided to give the Everest racing strap in Black Italian leather a go and let the original bracelet go into semi retirement. The racing strap did seem appropriate, sort of like putting a Rubber B on a Submariner or SD.

Like with all these straps, always wise to check the compatibility with the model number of the watch, but I have to say the fit against the watch case is superb.

The quality and comfort is superb.

That looks really good - and makes a Rolex go into stealth mode. I may consider that for my own Daytona.

Thanks, it completely removes any of the blingyness and makes it look sort of ordinary, but yes stealth mode sums it up.

This appeared under the Christmas tree.

No idea how it got there.

It’s gone straight onto the leather strap.

    Ooo that’s lovely.
Does it have a replacement second hand? Others I have seen have a more ornate lume filled second hand.
It’s a lovely rare watch. Enjoy

    Thankyou.
Have done a bit of searching on the internet about the watch. I think it could be a replacement by what I have seen so far. Going to try a bit more searching as I want to find out as much as I can about it.
