The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

    6th day of ownership.

Consolidation and a 2 year itch for a RG watch.

Need Tonys photography skills to capture the finer finish and dial!

Congratulations – that’s a beautiful watch! If you leave it with me for two or three months, I’ll happily provide some photos FOC

That Patek is stunning. For some reason I associate most watches in RG as feminine but Patek seem to make it work extremely well for the mens watches range.

Wish I could consolidate but I know I'd regret it so just got to find a way to keep adding instead

Base Panerai are great watches. FWIW I think the solid case back is more in keeping with its nature.

Watch out for that rabbit hole, my Panerai numbers got out of hand at some speed!

    Enjoy it

New arrival from Jack83 ... and I'm absolutely kicking myself that I haven't had one of these to enjoy for the last 20+ years they've been available ... what a simply superb watch !

The Mango was delivered today. Initially had buyers remorse when I pre ordered but now it’s here, I’m pleased I didn’t cancel.

Quite taken with it. In fact will probably pick up the black dial later some point.

OEM strap was too long but pleased to see the Sinn U50 rubber is a perfect fit!!

    Cheers Dave.

It's already started! I've signed up to the forums, been scouring their website for other models, and of course I've just ordered six more straps!

At least I'm gaining knowledge of another brand.

Arrived last night from SC, a PRS-56 Mission Timer. Straight onto a Nick Mankey strap.

Only my second TF watch, having enjoyed a Dreadnought Voyager a few years ago.

Find myself spending more and more time wearing quartz at the moment.

Arrived yesterday. If you had of told me 11 years ago when I joined this forum having just purchased my first "real" watch (Oris TT1 Diver) that I would one day have one of these on my wrist, I would have asked what you were smoking!!

Pure understated quality and class. Extremely happy with it!

Me too, to the extent that I now have one on the way. The lug to lug distance is only about 49mm so I’m hoping it will be fine on my 6.75 inch wrist!

Not new watches, but certainly a whole new feel and look for watches I already have, thanks to new straps.

I took advantage of the recent ZicZac leather 50% off sale to stock up on new exotic leather straps

I am delighted with the quality, fit and finish of them.
2 are being immediately pressed into service with new shoes on my Blancpain (black crocodile) & my Sólás (Blue python), I think the Python pairs particularly well with the aventurine dial.

The blue Croc that will likely live a short while on my blue Seamaster GMT, although I do think the Python might end up suiting that one more. The last strap is for the better half's carrier tank.

Stunning pick up! Love the all black too.

I can agree on what you say! When I joined 6 years ago I would never thought I’d have the watches I do or been able to try the watches I’ve had

Be interested to hear your thoughts on that after a few weeks. I’m on the list for one (and a Sub LV). Have been able to try the LV on at the AD and really liked it… but trying to find the GMT even to look at in real life hasn’t been possible.

This arrived this morning. I've wanted this variant in 42mm for ages, albeit that I missed a couple recently. Size is actually perfect on my small-ish wrist, with clear water on both sides of the lugs.

Popped it on a Zulu for now as I had to give up resizing the bracelet (a case of life mirroring art if you saw my recent thread on the subject). Incoming PM for Mr Walker later!

Looks good on your girly wrist Tony, lol.

Whats the issue sizing the bracelet?

    Thanks

I got the links off without a problem but just can’t put it together again. Gave up after an hour as I don’t want to mark the bracelet but it literally did my head in.

Radcliffe Le Dome. Prototype reviewed here: https://youtu.be/I4_DvNzcIPU?si=4-pMlPJktSNLYGdA

The production version is pretty good, in fact, it's really nice.

Recently acquired for my holiday in February (mainly because I don't want to take any of my expensive watches on holiday); a Dievas Vortex 500m. Ideal for swimming and general holidaying.

It cam on a leather strap, a nice one, but I decided to randomly plump for a 22mm curved rubber, and it's a perfect fit if somewhat tricky to mount. The Titanium buckle also fits perfectly.

    Lovely!

I spent quite a while thinking I would try and locate one of the DLC full lume versions of the vortex, I would be interested to hear your ownership observations

The result of my recent WLTB has resulted in this little beauty landing on my doorstep.

My intention was always to pop it an a leather strap and pre-empting its arrival I ordered these, Blue Alligator and tan Ostrich.

    Cheers,

    Ben

Well, it wears very well. Snug to the wrist and exceptionally light - the lug shape works very well for keeping the head close. It doesn't stand off the wrist despite its alleged depth (14mm) so doesn't hit passing doorframes.

Magnificent clarity due to the narrow, reassuringly solid-clicking bezel and large crystal, which is domed. Superb contrast between dial and indices/hands. The left hand crown really suits me as I wear my watch on the right wrist despite being right-handed.

The bezel overhangs which makes for easy adjustment, and the whole thing smacks of being well made. The lume is good, but not exceptional. but easily enough for most folks' needs.

A nice piece, perfect for my splashing in the pool.

Thought I would give one of these a try after quite liking the Moonswatch as a cheaper watch not to worry about too much. Not liking the original strap as it makes it sit too high, it is too long and obscures the display back but can begin the hunt for a nice replacement, thinking a navy sailcloth might work well

I'm fortunate to have a real Blancpain so doesn't work well as a gateway to the brand for me. I have wanted an FF for a while but 45mm is too big so it kind of fills that gap!

I think these are a nice modern watch with vintage looks. On a tropic or similar it would look the nuts.

I just can't get on with rubber straps I am going to change the mesh tho as I find it uncomfortable at the clasp.

Maybe a black leather or suede, suggestions welcome.
