    Cool The Phoenix has arisen

The Bel Canto Phoenix has now arrived from Switzerland and undergoing Quality Control checks at CW, Maidenhead.

Some pics of the prototype attached. Three of the pics are with the Phoenix sitting on the wing of MSO 1. The fire pic was simply a quick phone snap whilst I watched a fire-eater perform at the weekend.

    This came immediately to mind...

Very nice watch that, I love the slightly warm and drunk face it appears to have.

    Gorgeous thing.

I definitely think you got the best colour there. Really striking.

It really is a happy, drunk face. I adore it. Like Rowley Birkin in watch form.

What a beautiful thing, and finally - contrasting hands!

Yes indeed, I have an Azzurro and found the hands are so close in colour to the bridges that they can be hard to see. Hence, it's one reason I made them black on the Phoenix.

A great colour. I haven’t seen one in that colour before. What’s the carbon wing attached too?

Great watch, thanks. When I saw it a thought “Milhouse”!

do an online search for MSO 1 for a better look.

JasH has mentioned before that this is a limited run in this colour that were all sold long before he started posting pictures. It is a lovely colour.

To add some balance to this thread, I’m happy the owners seem to all love these, and I’m all for something different. However, I’ve only ever seen an ugly unreadable watch when I’ve seen pictures of these over the last couple of years - but somehow in this colour I think it looks garish too. Not my cup of tea at all - but like I say, glad to see different in the forum. Lucky we’re not all the same :)

Lovely car, and vibrant colours suit the Bel Canto.

Lovely car, although the colour is a bit naff. The watch, sorry, I just don’t get it. Absolutely hideous to my eyes. Good we all have different tastes or life would be very boring.

I think that the colour is one of the best but the car is a bit naff. Like you say, great that we all have different tastes. ;-)

I wish I had an MSO 765LT Spyder(?). I'd be grateful to be on the inside too, with such an exterior colour...............
