Finally scratched the 24-hour watch itch. Extremely pleased - a lot of watch for not much dosh! Now all I have to do is learn to tell the time all over again...

Congrats on the Pepsi. I am patiently waiting too. How on earth can if feel small though??? What are you used to wearing? Whenever I put my BLNR on it feels almost too big but I'm used to 37mm and 38mm cases during the week.

Pepsi is lovely, I don't have the cache with a dealer sadly and the grey price is still far to high for me :(

Thanks. I had my name down the day it was released in 2018 so almost 2 yrs. The only AD in NI, and I have a reasonable buying history with them ( BLRO YM2 BBBronze 116660 and 126660 JC 126600 ) but not a jewellery buyer at all, which would help AFAIK.

Thanks. I am used to 126600 and 126660 as well as 47mm PAMs so you can see how it feels small initially.

This arrived from SC this week

A bit of a rare one, the only issued CWC chrono with the enclosed logo. These were only issued for one year 1982 and were the very last mechanical chrono issued by the MOD. Its also cool in the fact it has 0552 (Royal Navy) instead of 6BB (RAF) on the case back which makes it even less common.

I was really tempted by that one. Good price when compared with the new ones. Plus that looks in good nick for its age. Enjoy it.

I agree, a lovely looking watch and a great price too, not surprised it didn't hang around for long.

If it makes you feel any better it wasn't your post that alerted me to this one! ;)

Plus they had 3 for sale....

Love this. Prefer this three hander version to the chrono. White looks cool as does the black version too. Should get one of each for each wrist

Thank you. Thats the watch we discussed in another thread a couple of weeks back; one I was trying to get a discount on. To close the loop on that, I failed to get so much as a penny off. Dont care now though 😍

That's a bit annoying but as you say done now and very happy. Very subtle watch and not shouty at all, really really nice.

Very nice indeed. If memory serves this got so many critics around. Never really understood why. Its an honest Seiko auto chrono. For the right price its great. The only improvement could have been done is leave the X out from the dial.

2019 216710BLNR on a SubC bracelet- perfect fit it you just use the Jubilee springbars that are slightly thinner than the SubC springbarsIMG_0096.JPG

I've been after one of these for a long while, as I see the modern GMT as the ultimate one-watch choice when I finally pack up my watch collecting bags. Ideally it would be the Pepsi, but the blue is growing on me and I'm pretty happy with it.

I did wonder when you were going to pop up with one of those after you nearly had the one on SC which was advertised too cheap due to the import issues. Same colour as that Porsche too! Congrats.

    New Arrival

New arrival and a bit of a change. I was looking at getting another Deepsea Blue but when I tried this on, I instantly loved it. It’s a bit of a change from the Rolex train I’ve been on, but so far really enjoying the watch.

Probably an optical illusion but that minute hand tip seems to be angled up.

    My new Seiko 6309

Interesting history in that owned by Royal Navy clearance diver and used in Falklands and first Gulf war.

Does it count if you sell a watch and then buy it back 2 weeks later?
