What drew me to it was the ivory on the blue..it’s a stunning look

Sorry, another Rolex. I got this a couple of weeks ago and I think it’s my first ever TT watch. The rose is a lovely colour and really mellow compared with normal gold.

Mrs C liked it better than I did, in the shop, but it charmed me very quickly and I’ve been wearing it ever since.

Currently wearing it! It's my first Sinn and I'm very impressed. Really wanted something with a bit more colour and this fitted the bill!

Can't say I'm a big fan of two-tone watches, but that GMT is incredible. It's probably my favourite of the current line up. The SS versions look a little flat in comparison.

    Lovely Cliff
Seems bonkers that people pay nearly the same to own a BLNR or Pepsi.

Got my first Rolex recently and it has only been off when I’m working or sleeping. I was surprised at how comfy it is too!

Well, it seems like an incoming after two months in Glashutte where it got a full service. Came back a month earlier than expected... not sure I want to sell it now

Thanks. Its one of the most elegant executions of the perpetual calendar complication out there (IMO, of course).

One and a half new incomings for me today!

First is the Breitling I took a punt on from Ebay as I couldn't find any in the UK on Chrono24 or similar. Picked it up today and all seems good, seller even included the original caseback sticker and numbers on the boxes, paperwork and stickers all match. Better than it looked in the pics. Paid through Ebay via Paypal of course and am making some checks with the original dealer but hopefully a good 'un! A bit larger than I usually wear but black helps with the appearance (slightly smaller looking in real life than in this pic).

Second is the Pro 2 bracelet for my Aerospace which I picked up from SC. Always been a fan of this bracelet and so shot off a PM when it was listed. I like the darker grey colour compared to my steel bracelets and also the fact that the whole watch is incredibly light even on the bracelet. Technically not a new watch but almost as good!

I’d agree also, I love that German elegance in watchmaking, ultra clean, unfussy, handsome design work.

Would really like to try a 43mm SD on my wrist, but good luck with that, I guess.

This arrived just now, and for £85, I'm thrilled. Bremont leather strap with curved end pieces. Can't think of a better watch for the wedge.

Fantastic value! People talk about the 'field watch' and this really looks like a great suggestion.

Thanks, it's hard to justify an Explorer I for 60x the price!

    I bought Unclealec's Delvina Super-compressor.

From the SC photo I hadn't realised the dial was blue, but that turned out to be a bonus as I like blue dials.

I wasn't convinced that the black and yellow strap matched it well, so, as I often do when a watch arrives with me, I trawled UK watch straps for a more appropriate looking (to me) strap.

I found a nice Navy blue padded Fluco strap, with white stitching and Nick was as quick at despatching as ever and it arrived today (after ordering yesterday afternoon).

I think it looks great and changes the look of the watch quite a bit, bringing out the blue of the dial far more.

Fair play! I’ve had many iterations of seamaster and this newest model is pretty much perfect and half the price of most of the competition. I might add the white dial at some point

I would have to agree - at 42mm, the size is pretty much perfect for me, whilst the step up in quality since the last models is really noticeable. I love the ceramic dial and more modern etched wave - not seen the white dial yet, but I can see it being part of the collection in the future.
