Holiday beater. Hacked the cyclops off with a hammer and chisel.
Would’ve preferred 40mm to the 42mm, but it’s surprisingly well made for a £90 watch.

Just had the call and picked this up.

Ordered it on the day of release so waited a very long time.

Congrats on the Snoopy, mate, lovely watch. I had the older black and white one until I sold it last year to pay for a new kitchen!

    Congratulations.

Took a while for the strap on mine to be comfortable but after wearing it a bit it's fine. Same story for the prior Snoopy as well!

    Congratulations on the watch.

I could not get on with the strap so ordered the fully brushed bracelet from the boutique and I am much happier with it like that.

Acquired via Neely8's very generous fundraiser auction on SC earlier in the week. I've put it on a 22mm rubber strap that cost £3.59 from Amazon and arrived this morning. Really makes the dial pop.

Just noticed that the strap doesn't quite seem to be wide enough .. looks like the lugs are 23mm. However it seems secure enough. Going to have to do.

Not sure about the California dial, but the dial colour is awesome. Would be great to see some real life pics when it arrives.

While I've severely moderated recent watch chasing, I was sorely tempted by this release which makes a refreshing change from my history of square G-Shocks. Much prefer this to the 6900 variants with the small dials. Just swapped out the fancy imprinted strap with a regular Casio one.

Stunner Wes, and we’ll worth the wait. Is this your first vintage Rolex?

Some great watches recently but the Explorer 40 and the 5 digit GMT are pretty special.

    Holiday beater no.2.
Full titanium case and bracelet. Weighs nothing. Apart from the obvious dial text it’s a very good copy.

These are really nice. A little big for me, otherwise I would have snapped it up. A proper traveller’s GMT too, great spec, great finishing, great value.

Bloody hell. Just stop it now.

That would be most people’s quota for a lifetime, never mind a week.

It a cycle Wes that I have been through several times. A few purchases at once, an initial period of enjoyment followed by Jesus, how much have I spent followed inevitably by something getting the chop. Hope it works for you and you don’t over think it.

Thanks mate. This is the new 39mm version. Far better fit for me than the 42mm one I tried at LHR T3 a few weeks back

New arrival yesterday , I’ve been on the list for a while and after selling some of my pieces to consolidate it has finally come. Couldn’t be more thrilled and the staff at the boutique were absolutely amazing .

Holiday in Rome and our 25th wedding anniversary is a good enough excuse for a new watch (each!). The good lady went for the mother of Pearl 35mm version, which I have to say is a really good looking watch. The bracelet on these really elevates them I think.

Both beautiful watches, perfect demonstration of the availability of great watches throughout the price spectrum.
