Couldn't resist the white dial "Baytona" - sorry - anyway that's what I came away with and it looks fabulous to my eyes, in the flesh.

The black is lovely as well but the sub dials were more silver than I expected and I didn't love the contrast date window.

    Few pics;
Lovely watch, probably would be my pick of the bunch from the new Tudors as well.

What did you make of the BB58 925 out of interest?

I was very tempted but I prefer not to buy two watches at once as it detracts from the purchase experience imho.

The Taupe colour was very "Ghost" in a good way but the dial, bezel and fabric strap were all perfectly matched so no visual contrast. The watch was a little heavier than a standard 58 and the fully brushed case looked very sharp and beautifully executed. The movement is no looker so the display casebook is a waste of time.

New to me the Nomos 701. Complete contrast to my Tudor BB GMT. It's an intriguing thing.

Love the colour palette on it, love the legibility. Love the thin-ness (if that's a word).

When the pictures first landed I kinda preferred the black, the indices seemed to blend into the white dial too much. But that looks pretty near perfect to me. It’s a stunner

That's a handsome watch. Orange and white isn't a combination you see together but it looks great.

A new Kickstarter watch for me from SWC, first impressions are really good, it’s really well finished, the line is ridiculous and the rubber strap very comfortable

The watch surprised me as a) I don't normally wear dress watches although I do I admire many and b) in just how smitten I became very quickly. The watch dragged me into a YouTube rabbit hole that culminated in me absolutely having to sate my long-held desire for a Grand Seiko. I felt determined to bag a Spring Drive but, as I looked through video after video, my admiration for their quartz movements grew to such an extent, I felt I wanted to experience a top-end HAQ which surely has to be one of the best in the business. I had never realised the level of thought that goes into these movements. Sure, I'd heard they grew their own quartz crystals for the movements but I hadn't known about the level of hand-finishing nor any of the copious features they build into the watch including thermo-compensation. Xellos99 then posted his black dial 40mm SBGV207 the other day but, after realising I wasn't going to keep the lovely Longines that landed with me from Binsull on Saturday, I knew I had enough to put towards a brand new watch with my preferred champagne dial. After a little research, I realised they had the same watch out now with the newer 9F85 movement (independently moveable hour hand) and so I negotiated a deal with a UK AD on Sunday afternoon et, voila! SBGP001.

    Smitten!

    Love these.

Maybe best via DM for discretion, but really keen to pick up one of these quartz GSs for a birthday gift in October, so any AD deal recommendations would be very handy.

Thanks. I can't see myself getting on with the silver and the display back, but I kind of want to see one in the flesh before passing final judgement. I think my BB58 wait will continue until they do a GMT, hopefully they won't randomly make it in platinum!

Received my Damasko Dsub1 this morning (my first SC transaction - from Rinaldo1711 who was a pleasure to deal with).
Had she known, my wife would have been furious at my sending a chunk of money to a total stranger to buy a watch brand that I’ve never seen in the flesh, but it is stunning and I’m chuffed.

That is seriously nice, unusual, and eye-catching. I've long-since lost track of Omega's torrent of models - is this a ceramic bezel, if-so, they've really nailed the colour now.

Congratulations on your first step along the financially-rocky road of Damasko ownership - I'm eagerly anticipating my fourth tomorrow, with a bit of luck...!

It wouldn't happen to be a black and white DC86, would it?

Well, I’ve wanted one of these for years and I missed the very well priced on SC - so decided to buy a new one.

That *would* be nice, if perhaps a bit too similar to my DC80, but no, it's Rousey's D-Sub 3 which I've traded for my beloved (but rarely-worn) Ollech & Wajs P-104 (+£!).

Very much looking forward to getting my mitts on it.
