    I'm just too curious

And I must be the most predictable on here.

Arrived this week after a successful WTB and made all the better by a great seller..

Just so happens the serial is a birthdate watch for me being 1974 and the reference is 145.022 ST 71 with a beautiful step dial and light charcoal grey bezel, unpolished and just serviced by Brendon.

    I'm very happy

No, I think it looks well on you. I don't often think watches are too small for people, however, and I suspect your wife's opinion should have a much greater weight than mine... anything for a happy life, surely?

    Being honest yes I do

I normally think smaller watches look great and I am a firm believer in 'wear what you like' but in my opinion the style/size of this one on your particular wrist is a bit too small

Both new in this month and now my 2 watch rotation, with a new job starting soon in a harsh environment I think it is a sensible double act

Not at all. I regularly wear some of a similar size.

Try some different straps. Something with a little more texture, maybe tan etc. It might change the look in a way that she likes. My wife still ignores mine fwiw :)

    Nice Boctok btw.

Can't tell at this angle. Close up we are used to seeing wrist shots where the watch has to fill up the whole wrist. Further back or at the angle where you're likely to glance at your watch, it most likely looks fine.

My thinking was the distance the photo was taken normally exagerates size (like this one of my old SubC)

The most important thing is how you feel it looks

What does she know :), doesn’t even wear a watch. Ever!

I tried it on a nice hand stitched cowhide, but didn’t feel right. Looks a wears much better on this one.

If I could only have two watches for the rest of my life then those two would be the exact models. Great to see - enjoy them and the new job.

Cool duo. Be sure to hang the g shock off a window handle to charge it up. Just don’t forget when you open the window!

I just brought this cracker off Ben ( I haven’t seen it yet - don’t ask) but this photo is still making me drool.

I know it been mentioned a number of times with Zenith but styling, movement, heritage etc c’mon this piece is amazing. Oh yeah 1 of only a 1000 which is a little added cherry on top.

I am excited now just wait till I get my hands on it!

    Cheers Ben top man.

Also it’ll look bigger and better proportioned on a strap with some taper towards the buckle. Give it a try!

Just arrived from Neil at Chronomaster - superb service as per usual!

I have previously had the grey anthracite version of this watch but found it a little washed out. This one certainly doesn't suffer from that problem.

It is - a rich inky blue. Kind of reminds me of the ink we used to use in fountain pens at school back in the 80's!

I’ve not made a habit of posting on this thread even though I’m a hardcore buyer/hoarder, but I’ve wanted one of these for ages. Mrs Draft took delivery as we are in different countries and I can’t wait to get it on my wrist come the weekend.

Thank you. They are like hens’ teeth in the UK and Europe. They do come up in Japan but this was from a US based eBay seller. Still another two days until I get to put it on. I’m hoping that as it was sold in the US the bracelet will be a decent size. The last GS I sourced from Japan necessitated a visit to Jura for an extra link.

Nothing too fancy, and paid far more for it than I think was reasonable, but sometimes you've just got to say sod the money if you like it enough :) Dugena watertrip skindiver 100m. Not entirely sure what date it would be from, mid 70's?
