It's amazing what a bit of a polish and a decent strap can do. This is what the eBay picture looked like - no wonder I was the only bidder.

Well done, what a transformation! Must have been a bargain looking at the 'before' pics.

Thanks. Cost just a little more than the strap :).

Timekeeping is sort of OK, about -25s per day. Very likely never to have been serviced so probably plenty of scope to get that much better one day. It's quite a decent in-house movement by all accounts.

Throughly enjoying this vintage beauty, a new arrival after a casual trip to the SC. Just too much temptation there ....

The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

Picked up this Longines Conquest Heritage and loving it. Tried it on a mesh and I think it looks good:

Picked up a very nice Seiko Orange Monster and immediately put it on an orange strap as a summer/holiday watch. I did look at the Isofrane but at near £100 decided a £12 strap from Watchgecko would look just as nice!

Turned out nice again! It's always interesting to see somebody follow the path less trodden and that really has come up a treat.

Very nice, the numbers on the bezel remind me of a ym1 which I'm hoping to be a proud owner of in the not too distant future

Waiting on the arrival of my first Damasko. It's on leather so I wanted the bracelet- made enquiries to gnomon and WTF €850 plus €100 to send to damasko for the "perfect fit". Total joke. It doesn't even have micro adjustment so there is no perfect fit. The watch full set including watch leather box and oaoers is costing me 650 total and they want 950 for a strap?! Sad to say I'm right off the brand before I even get the watch. Gutted and Not amused

Newly acquired camel croc' on raised logo deployant. Really love it, and makes the watch seem very special IMHO.

Congrats! Crazy that these are cheaper than a Mark XVIII or the new IWC Pilot 36...

    Unknown Vintage bird

Just got a lovely flieger home. MINT condition ... NAH, kidding! It has been loved for scores of years. And now it will get a second wind. ;-)

Don't know which brand it is though...

Love that - great choice and has made me think about being more open to strap colours I would not normally consider. That combination works really well.

Bought this last week, love the size. Wanted something a little more "summerey" so replaced the original Glycine strap. Can't believe how much it changed the look of the watch, even better than expected!

My first real watch was purchased yesterday. I'm a traveler and learning about the unitime was when I decided to go in. Went for the pilot version, as I don't like the globe on the normal unitime.

These are stunning. I have two JLC Atmos clocks, but nothing as phenomenal as the Millenaire. Just awesome.

Will look forward to that. I really like these, hadn't heard of them until Kip over on the Christopher Ward forum asked members to give opinions between this and the C60 COSC for his friend to buy(he was torn between the two). Think I was the only one that voted for this beauty.
