The Incoming / New Arrival Thread

My Halios Seaforth bronze (blue dial) arrived today. My first Halios and must say I am amazed by the quality! Case has sharp lines and very nice and differently finished sections. Top hat like crystal is a dream and the dark blue dial is of a deep stunning colour.

The hands and indices match the case well. A nice and calm design that seems to work.

Comes with a nice travel case and extra strap as well. Already ordered another strap from Pavel here that I hope to fit soon!

Very shiny now, will be great to see the patina develop over time.

These are my two newest incoming (non-Seiko) 7A38's ....

Variations on a theme - the borderline fugly FRED Force 10. Subtle it ain't.

Now all I need is one of those naff Force 10 wire bracelets to go with it. Not.

Having slagged off their reissue for the use of fauxtina, I felt a sudden urge to try one of these in itís authentic patina.

Itís a fantastic runner at -4spd and is wonderfully light but with the reassurance that it can still take some abuse. Iím very impressed - can you tell?

My Seaforth Bronze arrived today too. I took a while to choose which dial colour to buy, but I'm really pleased with the green.

I love that. I have just returned from japan and had this on my wrist twice but resisted seeing as I have had two significant incomings in the last month. Seeing it again I am having regrets. So let me know if you get bored.

Two line text is eta. There are very minor differences, in house has two more lines of text in the dial and the marker at 3 looks different (which they did brilliantly on the ETA I must say, the white date is a part of the 3 marker)

Newer model has in house movement, 5 lines of text in dial instead of 2 and bizarrely has no lume at three oíclock whereas the ETA one does

Going a little off topic now, used there's a significant price difference between the two... Is the in-house movement thought to be that much 'better'?

Purchased a couple of weeks ago off the forum without a strap, now on a geckota nato. Hasn't had much wrist time yet as I haven't told the wife about it but it's only a matter of time!

Bought this from a Friend who needed to realise some cash quick. My second 2 tone DJ but this one the 16233 is amazing, definitely prefer the saphire crystal, in my opinion itís a true timeless classic that embodies what Rolex is all about.

Got this after my wtb for a minimal polished oysterquartz came to fruition.
I didnt get minimal polished but completely unpolished with a Buckley dial so I am beyond thrilled as I've missed having an oq since selling a few years ago.
    Very pleased.

Much better buy than the reissue, especially when it generally costs less too. Only reason to choose the reissue imo is if you want water resistance. Thats a nice one.
