It has the applied indices and logo (from Omega 2230.50), instead of the painted ones on the standard 2254.50.

I've been umming and ahhing over one of these for a few years now. Handled one on the rubber strap a couple of years ago and decided to take the plunge. First impressions are it is built extremely well, with great lume. Two little niggles but not enough to change my mind:
    1. Why when the case and bracelet is sand blasted do they put in a shiny crown? 2. Whilst the bracelet is robust and super comfy with screw down pins and bars, why do they then scrimp and fit the usual cheap clasp?

After an amazingly quick deal with chrisrennie44, this arrived RMSD. And I like it. A lot. Unfortunately, I think it's going to be a gateway drug to a full fat Doxa. However until I get the money assigned and the purchase approved by the Financial Director, this will more than do.

It's not quite as deep an orange as the Doxas look to be but otherwise (and especially at < £140) this is very nicely finished and looks very at home on my wrist.

Great watches. Try out a SteveO notched canvas strap to fit the lugs

Congrats. I tried one on about 1.5 years ago and liked it a lot -- if any mechanical gets close in the feel of robustness to a G, it's this one.

It would have to be the 061 for me – couldn't live without the SEIKO logo. If I had had SC success recently, I would have been looking for one. But I didn't, so that's that

Got this last weekend. Think I’m tapped out for a while. Green not usually my thing but this works for me with the black dial.

I must admit I think the dial on mine is perfectly balanced.

Wow Wes, a superb watch and one of my all time favourites. The bracelet is a great add on to the blue leather strap. I was hunting for one of these a while back, but no one was selling. I think I can guess who this came from.

Enjoy and check that footprint out with a loupe.

I've actually just sold mine. Absolutely cracking watch but it's not getting worn so it had to go. It was the right decision but I'm already missing it (despite it sitting in the watch box for the last 2 years!).

Is that a 36? I just "ordered" a 36 with that dial but smooth bezel and oyster. Let's see how long I have to wait.

Which would you take the stickers off?
    Which is the keeper?

    Blue or yellow/blue

I would keep the yellow of the two.

Yes the 36, was a bit worried about the size but getting used to it now. They had the oyster with smooth and was a tough one but the fluted won in the end. The dial is Stunning in the flesh.
Hope you don’t have a long wait.

I seriously considered posting the most unlikely to succeed WTT ever — "WTT: my Nomos Tangente 35 for your sbgx061"

    Yeh
Was looking at the blue dial for a while and actually nice to walk into a shop try it on and go home with it.
There was also a black dial 36 if of interest to anyone.

    That is lovely.

I don't like special edition Speedmasters generally, but a moonphase would definitely be able to take the place of my standard Moonwatch and it looks stunning in blue!
