Very difficult to photograph but he dial is quite something. It is in surprisingly good condition although I could do with an extra link in the bracelet.

Happy to join! They only had black on strap in stock and thankfully that was my favourite combo. Not really sure about the bracelet and white didn't look good on me! They're also getting harder to get.

Honestly not far away from my Daytona and some of the latter's issues like sub dial height are apparent. I'm quite fortunate to own both and honestly can see myself wearing the Zenith far more.

We don’t see many ladies watches on here, but this one is a bit special, my wife having been through some pretty serious health challenges, this is to celebrate coming out of the other side and on road to full recovery.

Went into the VC boutique in Edinburgh expecting to take a steel ladies overseas home, was shown this and the credit card was melted!

Full pink gold including bracelet, automatic movement with open case back and 22k rotor, with the diamond bezel with the two alternate straps, this is on a different planet to anything I have in my collection…for now!

Not in the same galaxy as that unbelievable VC but this little thing is fantastic. Placed it on a beige canvas and I’ve had a more remarks in a week than I’ve had for anything else over the years.

The price was of course a consideration, I'm just not up to Patek levels. I've tried a JLC Master Control in the past, but at that time they were 40mm in size and just way too large for my slim wrists. I also looked at the earlier 37mm versions, which are really nice, but many used examples were not in great shape. I also ended up checking the different Zentith's as well, ultrathins and Elite models and that's where I went.

So, here is mine - Zenith Elite Hand Wound Reserve de Marche, quite a mouthful but I like it! It's a dress watch at 37mm and 7mm slim, just the right size, and from a distance it looks like a simple white dial dress watch. On a closer look there is a lot going: guilloche dial, small seconds, reserve de marche, date window at 4:30. It's interesting to look at.

I like the Zenith Elite movements, they are slim, accurate and durable. I have one in my Panerai, the automatic 680. The movement on this one is the elite 655, it has a loud tick and smooth manual winding. It's now on a custom made alligator strap with a Zenith star logo pin and buckle.

Thanks Steve. Completely agree, so comfortable, I also think it wears more like a 42/43mm. Definitely smaller than my U1/UX. (My wrist is 7”).
