It was either that or a £2.5k slab sided lump that would only end up on SC with all the others

Omega really got the colour combinations right on this watch.

This lovely Omega landed off a SC deal. Maybe now not so hot with the Olympic version being turned out but looks good to me:

it arrived in showroom condition courtesy of DHL.

    All sized and de-stickered

My Xeric Vendetta wandering hour just popped through the post today, ordered back in December. Always been interested in new ways of telling the time. It’s pretty big (46mm), it don’t think it’s ridiculous on my 7 1/2” wrist.
I tend to swap out the original strap with my new watches... so any suggestions?! (Brown or black)

Is this the Tokyo edition or a standard silver dial?

This is the standard silver. The Tokyo is below, and I swapped the blue rubber from the silver onto the Tokyo, and out the bracelet onto the silver dial

Turning up on SC just shows people are buying lots of them to begin with. Same reason we see a lot of Seiko, Grand Seiko, Rolex and Omega on SC.

That said, walking in for a Tudor and walking out with a solid gold DD must feel a bit surreal!

Just purchased from that top TZer Shalako. Wanted one for a while now and while I know it's a marmite watch I absolutely love it. Exceptional in every way.

I've been thinking of trying a GS for a long time and then this popped up on SC yesterday, a couple of messages exchanged with Jacob and today this 3 week old stunner is on my wrist.

A complete change of direction to my usual dive watch obsession.

I have been looking at this on SC for days (an impending house purchase had me trying to be sensible but)...
Doing the deal in person over a cup of coffee was the icing on the cake!
I am a very happy bunny.

Well done! Do you have any vague intentions of sending the dial off to James Hyman or will you live with it - either would be fine, in my view?
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

    Leave as is.
It’s dark but it looks great to me.
A relume would spoil the character it has IMO

Great watch, congratulations. Is this the medium or large? Mono or duoface?

Looking at the duoface as my next purchase.

Hiya, it’s the mono large. Good size, I think, neither too big nor too small.

Looks good, I am considering the large. The medium felt a little too small when I tried it on. Did you come across and good deals on this model?

Just haggle for a good discount if buying new. 15-20% achievable.

    Thank you gents.

After selling the DSSD recently I was a bit lost on my watch direction. Was very tempted by the 233 on SC but having already been an owner, wanted something different.

Spookily was about to post a WTB for either a 25 or 87, assuming it was going to be a very long wait, when I spotted Darrens listing. Just knew it was meant to be after that!

    Lume is mental!

Great watch and is a fine addition to the collection.

Fortunately I have avoided your conundrum by committing to my latest arrival before knowing we were even going to look at a house let alone put an offer in on it but that is the position we are in four days down the line. I do get the impression Mrs Wimm thinks the money could be better used elsewhere (and to tell the truth part of me thinks that too).

Earlier this week I made the mistake of having a peek at SC before going to bed. I firstly got quite excited by Sinnlover's PRS-5 that was being ignored. I continued browsing while trying to figure out if I could justify buying it when I stumbled across this stunning watch which was just as ignored. I remembered Redwolf's post when he bought it and thinking how much I loved the dial and thinking I'd never have the opportunity to own one. So when this opportunity presented itself my head filled up with the what financial gymnastics could I pull off to buy it and I couldn't sleep. Eventually, at about 3am I PMd Redwolf just to set my mind at rest. After a very smooth transaction it arrived yesterday and I love it.

It wears large but fortunately not too large and the detail on the dial is something else. The minute markers even continue across the date window chamfer.
